See you fading Afar
Edenbridge Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
A tinge of green
I could take an oath on
A whiff of the unknown
A bloom to bare
I'm on the verge so slow and sure
No blessing in disguise
A thundery front appears to my surprise
The halcyon days are near to make their rise
(chorus)
A-light with a dream
Is where we begin
So boundless and flowing
It's lustrous as a star
The force of what we are
See you fading afar
The mystery-monger
Shall be unhorsed
Wonâ´t get out from under
Need a knight's move
The score is drawn
But I will keep an eye on
Time is out of joint now
Devouring each and all
The lonely wind has turned into a squall
A solitary force to cover all
(chorus)
Free me
Let me gain ground
Lull me to sleep safe and sound
Won't you hold on
Just make a start
Even when we're worlds apart
(chorus)
(chorus)
The song "See you fading afar" by Edenbridge talks about hope, the unknown, memories, and the force of what we are. The first verse paints a picture of something new and unknown, represented by the tinge of green and bloom, but also a touch of hope and certainty. The second verse shifts to memories and the passing of time, and the struggle to stay grounded amidst the changing winds. The chorus reinforces the idea of beginnings and the power of our dreams and aspirations, no matter how far away they may seem.
The lyrics overall reflect on the fleeting nature of time and the need to hold onto hope and dreams as we navigate through life. The song seems to encourage taking action towards our goals despite obstacles and distance, and finding comfort in knowing we all share the same force and potential.
