Edwin Lyrics

Singing like it was yesterday
It feels like home, but i keep going
And if i find a way the
Would you be there
And if i need to be there
I'll remember, I'll remember
When we were only in love
Its gonna come around again
Man I'm tired of running
The opening lyrics of Edwin's song Never Over deals with the lingering memories of a past love. Despite moving forward and carrying on with life, the singer can still hear the voice of his former flame singing in his head - as if it was only yesterday. These memories feel like home to him, but he knows he needs to keep moving forward. The question he poses to his ex-partner is, "If I find a way, would you still be there?" The singer is torn between moving on and the strong desire to reach out to his former love. Ultimately, he acknowledges how special their past relationship was, declaring that the love they once shared is never over.
The song speaks to the idea that love can come full circle again even when it seems lost. It's a reminder that the memories and the connection created between two people are powerful enough to sustain them even when they part. The singer is honest in saying he's tired of running away from his feelings because he can never truly forget or ignore the depth of emotions he once shared with his former partner.
