Described as Whitney Houston , Mariah Carey and Céline Dion all rolled into one, the singer has already had huge successes outside Poland in countries such as Japan, Norway, Switzerland, Portugal and South Africa.
In 1994 Edyta was the first Polish artist to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest, in which she claimed second place. Her song was "To nie ja" (That´s not me), which was also released in English as "Once In A Lifetime".
Her first studio album "Dotyk" released year later has moved half-million units only in Poland. In 1996 she signed a contract in London with EMI Music for recording of five albums.
Edyta released her first English album "Edyta Górniak" in association with the producer Chris Neil, responsible for international success of Céline Dion. Success of singles "When You Come Back To Me" and "One & One" let the album to make an impact with sales of half-million units.
In 2002 she was signed to Virgin Germany. In 2003 album "Invisible" had international premiere. It was produced by team Absolute responsible for success of Spice Girls and containing club hit "Impossible" .
In October 2007 she released her first studio album in five years, "E.K.G", promoted by the single "Loving You".
To this day Edyta has sold over 2 million albums, has won 39 awards, was featured on 160 magazine covers. The readers of "Maxim" magazine's internet site have voted her their most beautiful international cover girl. Edyta remains today arguably one of Poland most gifted and beautiful singers.

Mija prawie 25 lat. Jakoś teledysku jako całość - wybitna! Obraz i tekst szły w parze i nie trzeba się zastanawiać o czym jest utwór. Jeden z najlepszych popowych kawałków w Polsce na przestrzeni tych 25 lat. Na tyle ponadczasowy, że gdyby ktoś odważył się to puścić w radio to 90% słuchaczy by podkręciła głośność!!
