I use to think that I was lonely
In the past, I believed that I was always alone and had no one to connect with.

When I was a young boy
During my childhood years, specifically when I was a male child.

Doing what they told me
Following the instructions and orders given to me by others who were in a position of authority over me.

Existence that felt unemotional, detached, and uninvolved with others.

Too many lessons in the school class
An abundance of educational courses and teachings taken in a formal classroom setting.

Stated my allegiance
Declaring my loyalty and support for a particular group or cause.

Mixing with the wrong class
Socializing and interacting with a group of people who were considered to be inappropriate or unsuitable.

I lived at home with all my family
Residing in the same house as all of my relatives who were in the same household.

Even had my own key
Having a set of keys that allowed for entry into a particular area or place, implying a level of trust or entitlement.

The parental figures demonstrating the ability to give attention to and take into account what was being communicated by me.

Allowed to be alone
Being given permission to spend time by oneself.

(Then left me alone)
Afterwards did not take an active role in watching or looking after what I was doing.

There was never any friction
A statement indicating that there was never any noticeable tension or disagreement with others around me.

Starring in my own film
Feeling like the primary character in my own life story, taking the lead role.

It was my addiction
An activity or pattern of behaviors that I was particularly attached to or obsessed with.

This personal addiction may have been something that was imagined or not based in reality.

The world will carry on
The planet will keep on spinning, time will keep on moving forward, and things will continue to happen regardless of our actions.

What you are trying to achieve is already present, obvious, and easily noticed.

Joining together with others in order to form a group unity or identity.

And sit upon a throne
Metaphorically speaking, to attain a position of power or authority.

Don't ever hesitate
An urging to avoid being hesitant or delaying action unnecessarily.

Just carry on
Continuing onward, keep moving forward and persisting in the desired direction.

The older boys were rather surly
An experience encountering or observing elders who were moody, bad-tempered or difficult to deal with.

Living in the wrong place
Being located or situated in an area that was not desirable or appropriate.

Made me grow up early
As a result of the previously mentioned life circumstances, it caused me to mature quicker than expected.

But it was my home
Although it was not ideal, it was still the place that I resided and was attached or associated with.

As I complete my own existence
As a statement referring to my process of filling out, finishing or completing my life journey.

Staring at my own life
Engaging in introspection and thought processes about one's own existence, past, and present.

Fading in the distance
Something gradually moving further away or becoming less prominent over time.

A musical term referring to a tone that is lower in pitch.

Smiling faces of the neighbors
Seeing the positive expressions and emotions displayed by people who lived near me.

Proud of their endeavors
Feeling fulfilled, accomplished or satisfied with their own actions or efforts.

Unemployed forever watch TV at home
A description of people who were jobless, with no employment prospects, and tended to spend their time passively watching television while at home.
