In February of 2006, Elevation Church launched its first worship experience. Two and a half short years later Elevation Church is meeting in multiple locations with a weekly attendance that has topped 4,000. Through God's favor and a relentless pursuit of His vision we have watched over 2,000 people profess faith in Jesus Christ during our second year of ministry.
Commitment to the vision of life transformation is what drives every corner of this ministry. These songs were birthed from the heart of this movement. Our hope is that through these songs, you'll experience a glimpse of this revolutionary move of God.

Praise
Elevation Worship Lyrics

Let everything that has breath
Praise the Lord (you got it), praise the Lord
Let everything, let everything that has breath
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
I'll praise in the valley, praise on the mountain (yeah)
I'll praise when I'm sure, praise when I'm doubting
'Cause praise is the waters my enemies drown in
As long as I'm breathing
I've got a reason to
Praise the Lord, oh my soul (c'mon)
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
I'll praise when I feel it, and I'll praise when I don't (yeah)
I'll praise 'cause I know You're still in control
'Cause my praise is a weapon, it's more than a sound (more than a sound)
Oh, my praise is the shout that brings Jericho down (yeah)
As long as I'm breathing
I've got a reason to
Praise the Lord (c'mon), oh my soul
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
So how could I keep it inside? (I gotta)
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
(Yeah, praise the Lord)
C'mon let me see that dance, put a dance on it tonight (yeah)
If you're grateful, c'mon
Hey, hey, yeah
I'll praise 'cause You're sovereign, praise 'cause You reign
Praise 'cause You rose and defeated the grave
I'll praise 'cause You're faithful, praise 'cause You're true
Praise 'cause there's nobody greater than You
I'll praise 'cause You're sovereign, praise 'cause You reign (you reign)
Praise 'cause You rose and defeated the grave
I'll praise 'cause You're faithful, praise 'cause You're true
Praise 'cause there's nobody greater than You
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
(C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon)
Praise the Lord, oh my soul (praise the Lord, oh my soul)
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
How could I keep it inside? (How could I)
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
How could I keep it inside? (I won't keep quiet)
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
How could I keep it inside? (I gotta)
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump
Let everything that has breath (hey, hey)
Praise the Lord (hey, hey), praise the Lord
Let everything, let everything (c'mon, c'mon)
that has breath (c'mon, c'mon)
Praise the Lord (c'mon, c'mon)
Praise the Lord
(Let everything), let everything (if you got breath in your body)
That has breath (if you got breath in your body)
Praise the Lord (praise the Lord, c'mon)
praise the Lord
(Let everything), let everything that has breath (that has breath)
(Praise the Lord)
Praise the Lord (praise), praise the Lord
The lyrics of "Praise" by Elevation Worship emphasize the importance of praising God in every situation and circumstance. The song begins with a call to action, encouraging everyone who has breath to praise the Lord. It reminds us that regardless of our circumstances, we always have a reason to praise God. The lyrics express a determination to praise Him in the valleys and on the mountains, in times of certainty and doubt, when outnumbered and surrounded by enemies.
The song presents praise as a weapon, more than just a sound. It declares that praise is powerful enough to cause the walls of Jericho to crumble. The lyrics highlight the fact that our praise is not dependent on how we feel but on the knowledge that God is still in control. It encourages an attitude of gratitude and acknowledges that God is alive, so there is no reason to keep our praise inside. The song concludes by reiterating the call to praise the Lord with all our souls and to let everything that has breath give praise.
Overall, "Praise" is a song of declaration and encouragement for believers to praise God continually, no matter the circumstances. It reminds us that praise is not just an act of worship but also a powerful weapon that can bring down strongholds and testify to God's greatness.

I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus' face appeared to me in the water and told me. "Son, you're not alone" And now I'm a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I'm not alone right now. Jesus is with me.โ๐
