continuar?
besteira não adianta não
o que passou?
poeira
deixa de asneira que eu não sou limão.
Foi de conversa em conversa
Foi de palavra em palavra
você estar querendo? nos separar.
Parece at? que o destino
uniu-se com você so pra me maltratar.
? cada dia que passa
? mais uma tormenta que eu deixei ficar.
Nossa viver não adianta
? melhor juntarmos nossos trapos
The song "De Conversa Em Conversa" by Emilie-Claire Barlow talks about the struggles of a relationship where one person seems to always find a way to argue and bring up past conflicts, leading to the singer feeling like they are constantly walking on eggshells. The first stanza establishes the idea that living in this way is pointless and that dwelling on past issues is just creating more problems. The second stanza focuses on the communication breakdown in the relationship, with the other person seemingly trying to find ways to separate them. The singer feels like destiny is against them, and they are constantly dealing with new problems every day.
The chorus is an invitation to the other person to come together and work things out, to discard the past troubles and start anew. The last line asserts the singer's individuality, claiming that they won't let the other person's behavior turn them into something sour, like a lemon.
Overall, the song is a plea for better communication and cooperation in a strained relationship, where both parties can put aside their differences and start fresh.
