Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
If I saw her saying goodbye
I don't know what I'd do, no, no
If I'm gonna make you break and cry
I don't wanna know how bad it gets
Don't go falling away, you gotta make that break
Don't you turn into waste, we got it made
You have me
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
If I steal the little look into your eyes
Think I just should through, oh oh
If we lost the taste of silent lies
I don't want to show my face again
Don't go falling away, you gotta make that break
Don't you turn into waste, we got it made
You have me
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Feel, drawn to another hearts
Feel there is nothing here
Cure through another touch, oh oh oh oh oh
Feel, drawn to another hearts
Feel there is nothing here
Cure through another touch, oh oh oh oh oh
Together we can
Together we can (together we can do it)
(Together we can do it)
(Together we can do it)
Feel, drawn to another hearts
Feel there is nothing here
Cure through another touch, oh oh oh oh oh
Feel, drawn to another hearts
Feel there is nothing here
Cure through another touch, oh oh oh oh oh
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
Together we can (together we can do it)
The opening repetition of "Together we can (together we can do it)" sets the tone for a message of unity and resilience. The idea of coming together to achieve a goal or overcome obstacles is emphasized through the repeated lines, suggesting that strength and support can be found in togetherness. The insistence on this idea can be seen as a rallying cry or declaration of solidarity, encouraging listeners to band together and face challenges as a united front.
The lyrics then delve into personal emotions and relationships, painting a picture of vulnerability and fear of loss. The lines "If I saw her saying goodbye, I don't know what I'd do, no, no" evoke a sense of desperation and uncertainty, highlighting the power that other individuals hold over our emotions. The refrain "Don't go falling away, you gotta make that break" suggests a plea for connection and commitment, underscoring the importance of staying strong and not giving up on the bond shared with another person.
The theme of longing and longing is further explored in the verses that discuss stolen glances and the fear of losing touch with reality. The imagery of "lost the taste of silent lies" hints at the fragility of trust and communication in relationships, while the refusal to "show my face again" speaks to a fear of vulnerability and rejection. These lines convey a deep sense of emotional turmoil and the struggle to maintain closeness and honesty in a bond.
The final section of the song shifts towards a more introspective and reflective tone, exploring the idea of finding solace and healing through human connection. The repeated lines "Feel, drawn to another hearts, Feel there is nothing here, Cure through another touch, oh oh oh oh oh" suggest a longing for emotional healing and renewal through the comfort and understanding of others. The importance of empathy and mutual support is underscored, emphasizing the transformative power of shared experiences and compassion in navigating life's challenges.
