@DaisyGeekyTransGirl
You know Amin is really brutal when both Cold War rivals don’t want anything to do with him.
@mrgorbachef8246
Amazing picture quality, best african documentary channel
@AfricanBiographics
Thank you
@williamnunda6085
Thanks Tatenda,I know understand how the Uganda Tanzania war was fought,in the history I learnt back in school,there was never a mention of Gadafi or PLO supporting Idi amin,great learning experience from your channel,you rival even African revolutionary africa history taught in institutions of higher learning,well researched,thumbs up bro
@keithevans2722
Well researched as a Tanzanian I learnt alot from this video,kudos Bro!!
@samuelt.kisaame7787
As a Ugandan, I commend Tatenda for making a good documentary about Idi Amin. I was born after his regime but there are many stories I heard from my parents and other relatives about him, including my late paternal Uncle (RIP) who was a Captain in Amin's army at the age of 18 from 1972 to 1978, when he defected from the Army and went to join the liberation forces in Tanzania via Kenya.
@dreemlite5950
I wish to ask, how do Ugandan’s view Tanzania and how does Uganda still have Issues with Indians?
@samuelt.kisaame7787
@@dreemlite5950 The Uganda of today is friendly to all nationalities including Tanzanians and Indians. Personally, I think of Tanzanians as calm and friendly people. In fact, I have three friends from Tanzania; two ladies and one gentleman.
@dreemlite5950
@@samuelt.kisaame7787 thats good, how does Uganda today make sure that another Idi Amin doesn’t happen?
Is the government a lot stronger now or do they just teach the ppl how to identify tyranny lime that?
@samuelt.kisaame7787
@@dreemlite5950 Idi Amin was actually a product of the colonial setup; not necessarily of the Ugandan people. We can only hope that the lessons of history have been learnt well. That's how we can ensure that there's no repeat of that unfortunate part of our country's history.
