Let there be you, Let there be me. Let there be oysters Under the sea. Let there be wind, An occasional rain. Chile con carne, Sparkling champagne -- Let there be birds To sing in the trees, Someone to bless me Whenever I sneeze. Let there be cuckoos, A lark and a dove, But first of all, please -- Let there be love. ~interlude~ Let there be cuckoos, A lark and a dove, But first of all, please -- Let there be love... Hmmm umm...love Hmmm umm...love Let there be love.
In the song Let There Be Love by Engelbert Humperdinck, the lyrics are a simple yet beautiful expression of joy and happiness. The first two lines of the song sets the tone and theme for the remainder of the lyrics: "Let there be you, let there be me." The song further highlights the importance of little things in life, such as oysters under the sea, the wind, occasional rain, Chile con carne, and sparkling champagne. The author also recognized the significance of nature, including birds, larks, and doves that sing in the trees, blessing when sneezing. All these things are expressions of life and love.
The song lyrically is light-hearted and carefree which gives a sense of joy to this love song. The words also convey the positivity to embrace life and the nature that surrounds us. The chorus of the song mentions "cuckoos, a lark and a dove, but first of all, please, let there be love." This line sums up the whole meaning of the song as it stresses the significance of love in life, in nature, and in every little thing that our eyes can see.

Under the sea.
In a place where anything is possible.

Let there be change.

Even in the hardest of times.
Chile con carne,
A little bit of spice in life.
Sparkling champagne --
And a little bit of sweetness too.

A beautiful and peaceful sound.

Having someone to protect and care for me.

Above all, what I truly desire is...
Let there be love.
