Guitar Boogie is a compilation blues album with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, with additional credit to The Allstars. Most songs on this album were written by Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck or Jimmy Page. Guitar Boogie was released as a part of a British Archives series and is rare in that form. The album was re-released in the US in 1977 by Pickwick International. Only two of the guitarists appear on any given track. Jeff Beck does not appear on any of the Page/Clapton numbers. Similarly, Clapton doesn't appear on the Allstars tracks.
Jeff Beck's two tracks were recorded in 1963 and can be found on several different compilations.

With snakeskin upholstery.
I got a charge account at Goldblatt's,
But I ain't got you.
I got a closet full of clothes,
But no matter where it goes,
It keeps a ring in the nose,
I got a tavern and a liquor store.
I play the numbers, yeah, four forty-four.
I got a mojo, yeah, don't you know,
I'm all dressed up with no place to go.
I got women to the right of me.
I got women to the left of me.
I got women all around me,
But I ain't got you.
No, I ain't got you.
No I ain't got you.
The lyrics to Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page's bluesy rock song "Miles Road" tell a story of material success and worldly possessions, but ultimately, a lack of true fulfillment without the one they desire. The first verse highlights the luxurious items they possess, such as a Maserati with snakeskin upholstery and a charge account at Goldblatt's department store. However, despite these material things, they still feel empty because they don't have the person they want. The second verse continues the theme of having a lot of things without true happiness, with a closet full of clothes that never quite fit right and seem to hold them back. The line "It keeps a ring in the nose" could refer to the feeling of being chained to material possessions, unable to escape their hold.
The chorus repeats the sentiment that they have women all around them, but it means nothing without the one they love. The final verse reinforces the focus on worldly possessions with a tavern, liquor store, and playing the numbers. But even with a mojo (a talisman or charm that is supposed to bring good luck), they're "all dressed up with no place to go" without their beloved. The repetition of the phrase "I ain't got you" drives home the central message of the song: without love, everything else is meaningless.

In an age where EVERYTHING is over produced, THIS is what the blues are meant to sound like. Raw and nasty. Love it!
