Nada
Estados Alterados Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

En las noches más oscuras
hacia afuera no veo nada
y de pronto para adentro
todo es una nebulosa
y no entiendo nada
y no veo nada

Evitare tu garbor
sin embargo es imposible
esconderme en mi silencio
caminando en mi memoria
y no entiendo nada
y no veo nada

(CORO)
Tantas cosas en mi mente
no dejan cerrar mis ojos
he soñado tanto despierto
que para que dormir X2

Entre duendes y demonios
eludiré mis temores
para anular la obsesión
que mis ojos hallen a voz
y no entiendo nada
y no veo nada

(CORO) X2

Aunque trate de evitarlo
todos cuesta sensación
y debo ponerme guardia
la melancolía es tan dulce
que no entiendo nada

(CORO) X2

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of the song "Nada" by Estados Alterados depict a sense of confusion and aimlessness. The opening lines describe the darkness that seems to engulf the singer, preventing him/her from seeing anything outside. But inside, everything is murky and unclear, like a nebula. The singer is unable to comprehend or make sense of anything, adding to the feeling of being lost. The following lines suggest an attempt to avoid pain or hurt, but it seems futile since it can't be hidden within. The singer has to walk through their memories and face their emotions head-on. The chorus highlights the overwhelming thoughts that prevent the singer from sleeping. The idea of dreaming awake is a metaphor for constantly battling thoughts that refuse to settle.

The second verse carries on with this confusion and fear. The singer is determined to shake off their fears and avoid slipping into an obsession. But the attempt to escape their own mind brings them back to the starting point. The chorus is repeated twice, emphasizing the powerful emotions that refuse to let the singer rest or find peace. The final lines suggest that even though the singer tries to avoid it, they are still affected by everything around them. The sweet sadness of melancholy lingers, and they remain lost and without understanding.
