Someday
Eternal Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Someday
When we are wiser
When the world's older

When we have learned
I pray
Someday we may yet live
To live and let live

Someday
Life will be fairer
Need will be rarer
And greed will not pay

God speed
This bright millennium
On its way
Let it come
Someday

Someday
Our fight will be won then
We'll stand in the sun then
That bright afternoon
'Til then
On days when the sun is gone
We'll hang on
As we wish, wish upon a star

There are some days dark and bitter
Since we haven't got a prayer
But a prayer for something better
Is the one thing we all share

Someday
When we are wiser
When the whole world is older
When we have learned

I pray
Someday we may yet live
To live and let live
One day, someday

Someday
Life will be fairer
Need will be rarer
Greed will not pay

God speed
This bright millennium
Let it come
As we wish, upon a star

One day
Someday
Soon

One day

Someday
Soon

This song needs a lot more Credit than it has I think :)

And so does the Film!

This song and the Film together fill me with a Uphoria I cannot describe.

Not a single other Disney Film has such a Realistic, Emotionally Driven and Touching Storyline!

It's Beautiful!

Easther was gifted with the best of the gifts, her gorgeous voice. It's kind of criminal how she didn't turn into an international solo superstar.

Mike Stone

Yep just like Denise Pearson from Five Star. I see echoes between the two, they both carried the band

Silas Otim

It's very criminal. She should been on the same level as Beyonce. However I'm sure it had something to do with her baby father.... When you have a talent like Easther's you can't go for mediocre. However it was Vernie who was winning the singing competitions and had "the voice" Easther just sang once and blew everyone away.

Unfortunately she didn't want it. I felt quite sad when she told me that when I randomly met her at a train station. She was absolutely lovely, so kind, we had a big big hug, fond memory.
