The worst thing that has happened to Christianity in the last 5 yrs (far past any damage that Lauren Daigle could do to the Body of Christ) ard these YOU TUBE channels. All these channels have SELF APPOINTED Judge & Jury human flesh - taking up a chair (thier own throne) and a microphone (being the word) and being Prohet of all the other preachers & teachers out there that are either Heritics or Going to hell. The One in the chair must FEEL they HEARD God call them to this ministry (because it's not in the bible).
I don't agree with Lauren Daigle on several issues.
However...this commentary is more wild hair ranting in only a few minutes than could ever be pointed out in Ms Daigle Text/Twitter. Review your transcript. You literally charge Ms Daigle with making statements that are mystic, while you literally did the same thing in your presentation. Further...o point out almost every word she used, trying to string it together as if every word has intended mysticism. Dear Lord Dude...she is just using common language...very common language.
But l bet you and most others who participate in this Gaslighting of the Body of Christ...certainly PARTICIPATED IN SUPER BOWL SUNDAY...GOT YOUR GAME DAY LINGO GOIN' ALL WEEK. Do you a hear yourselves at all. You are no different than Pelosi, Schumer, Liz Cheney....trying to drum up something skereleous about Jan 6 & make every normal American into a witch hunt. If you were dealing with only the Real & Actual (heretics) in the Normal body of Christ as a whole...you would not even have a full time video channel. I love your ministry! I have been called an extremist and doomsdayer for preaching holiness and repentance and to discern the spirits and being careful what we listen to and what we watch etc. because it’s something “good” that will lead us always from Christ. I actually saw her in concert a couple months ago and heard an interview a while back that the Lord had been putting on her heart to go back to her roots of why she became a singer and that's to sing for HIM and that is exactly what she's trying to do again and has been for some time. On Kaleidoscope Jesus, some of her songs tell stories, some talk about Jesus. So my prayer is that people can stop judging the outwards and realize that we have all fallen off the track at some point and God always pulls us back when we are His ❤️ I went through a period in my life too when I was more concerned with pleasing others than him. I'm sure we've all been there

And those words are used in the Bible as well. the enemy is the one that came and tried to mimic Jesus because he wants to be like him as scripture tells us. But because the true Christians have not been stepping up and showing who the real God is, in his beautiful manifested presence, the rest of the world is getting the deceptive view of it through New age and other religions but it's not the true Spirit! The closer we get to God's spirit the more we will see mysteries of him unfold. The word reset is not uncommon in the Christian churches. It's good for us to get rid of our flesh and reset ourselves on the mind of Christ. Just because certain words are used in new age does not mean that they were originally not intended for God. Being in his presence alone strips all of the chaos and we do find that stillness with him again. It was obvious she was talking about God, especially since she mentioned Him in the beginning. 💙

Please, I am so overwhelmed! My grown daughter, who was brot up to follow Christ & Christ alone & now she has gotten off into following the Psalms 119 ministries & acting like they are following the Jewish laws & will not celebrate Resurrection Day or Christmas & now they wont teach about Jesus to her 3 young daughters. The strain on a gnat & swallow a camel. They say they can only allow their girls to eat a special gummy bear from a single store bcz other one are made with unholy ingredients but then wont teach her children about Jesus. They say they believe that Jesus came & gradted them into the family of God & now they worship God alone. My heart is broken & now Lauren D. who is my daughter’s favorite “christian” singer has come out saying being homosexual is not a sin & now this too. My heart is broken & my daughter doesnt talk to me anyway. Not since she married this heretic man who got her into all this religion. We were once very best friends but not once she married this horrible man & moved stayes away. Im not in her life or her childrens life. My heart is broken. @@d.b.4201 Maybe instead of trying to tell her what to believe, ask her WHY she believes what she does. That's more important. Because if she has a reliable method for discerning truth, then it logically follows that she will be more likely to find truth. Is she using a reliable method for knowing what she believes is true? What is her method? Can that method be used to conclude something entirely different, such as another religion? If so, is that method reliable, seeing as how you can conclude anything?

Or, if you're feeling brave... and you care about believing true things... maybe you can ask yourself why you believe in Jesus. What method are you using to determine Christianity is true? I highly suggest you look into Street Epistemology. Seeing as how your daughter wasn't equipped with a good method for discerning truth, it seems to me that maybe you weren't equipped with a good method for discerning truth either. Otherwise, you probably would have taught her not what to think is true, but HOW to know what's true. After all, if your beliefs really are true, they will hold up to some honest questioning, right? So why not look into Street Epistemology? You can search for it right here on YouTube.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your beliefs aren't true. I just think everyone should honestly question their beliefs so that they can believe as many true things and as few false things as possible. Don't you agree? If you find that you do in fact have satisfactory reasons for believing what you do, then your beliefs with be reinforced with Street Epistemology. And if you find you might not have as good of reasons as you thought you did, that's good because now you can think about things in a new way and reconsider your beliefs and how you come to accept them as true.

Immediately after Jesus says, “Do not judge,” He says, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs” (Matthew 7:6). A little later in the same sermon, He says, “Watch out for false prophets. . . . By their fruit you will recognize them” (verses 15–16). How are we to discern who are the “dogs” and “pigs” and “false prophets” unless we have the ability to make a judgment call on doctrines and deeds? Jesus is giving us permission to tell right from wrong.

To the people who still listen to her music and have felt God talk to them, remember that God can use anything to talk to you. We look at the Bible where God spoke to Balaam through a donkey. He can use anything and anyone to talk to you, to help and to show you his glory. The Bible even says that when the Lord comes for his people there will be some outside the door saying but Lord we did miracles in your name and preached and he will tell them, depart from me I do not know you workers of inquity. God works everything together for good for his people. So he will get something good out of her music regardless if she is living according to his word or not. Paul said in phillipians that some will preach God out of envy and rivalry while others will teach sincerely. And that whether they are teaching out of pretense or truth, the gospel will be proclaimed either way. That doesn't mean the people preaching it are always living by it. I personally do not think she is standing on God's word because she refused to call homosexuality sin in an interview. I also noticed she never mentions Jesus in her more secular interviews. She talks about the "power of music brining people together" but she never mentioned Jesus. The Bible also mentions people who regard godliness as a means of gain. Meaning they want to see what they can get from it financially hence things like the prosperity gospel came about. Seems to be she Is trying to serve two master and please the world which the Bible tells us is impossible to serve two masters. It also tells us that if the world hates Jesus, it would hate us too. But those that are friends of the world cannot be friends with God at the same time. The problem is not that she went to the Ellen show or has friends that are gay. It's about not compromising truth while still loving the sinner. We can pray for her but by no means should sugar coat or ignore the things she is doing wrong just cause you're afraid to hurst someones feelings. These are influential people that can and will lead others astray lest someone stands on the truth.

Sad but true. I'm a worship leader at a church and my husband and I have decided to leave. Our original concerns was their light view of scripture in a sense that they could "stay in His presence" all service and be ok with not preaching a message. As more days pass and I am able to pray and study after the meeting we had with the pastors, I see the consequences of not regarding the word of God as the primary source of our growth in Christ. Without the word as our foundation, we gravitate to some really weird, heretical behavior. I love to praise and worship the Lord because HE IS FAITHFUL and I am grateful. But I only know what I know because of the precious word of God.

Why has the church become so secular? It’s wrong that the church was called to “stay in His presence” rather than to sit down after half hour of “scheduled worship” and listen to a sermon? Where has the heart of God gone? Does no one recall the story of Mary and Martha, where Mary sat at Jesus’ feet, and Martha worked and worked, yet Jesus said that “Mary has chosen what is better?” It’s not about a schedule. It’s not about “doing what’s expected.” He wants us, uninterrupted, unconventionally. I’m not saying that Sunday Sermons are wrong or that the word shouldn’t be used to edify the body. But what people believe “church” is nowadays is completely off. It has become selfish, self-gratifying, ego-centric. The church is not a building or experience with a schedule ending with a sermon. It is the body of Christ. We are called to serve each other, not ourselves. We are called to put God first! We are called to be in His presence and edify one another, and that looks different to what we’re “taught” or “used to” sometimes ! God is for His word, and also for music, and also for prayer, and also for deliverance, healing the sick, speaking in tongues and many other things that are skipped out on because it’s not what we deem “normal.” The book of David is all songs…the Bible is literally written partly in song! David danced till his clothes came off! Paul and Silas worshipped and prayed in their prison cells until the PRISON DOORS opened! You don’t need to have someone preaching to be in God’s presence. You don’t need someone preaching to be in God’s word. Where is this in the Bible? God’s word is LIVING. We should be meditating on it night and day. Not when it’s convenient during Sunday service where the pastor reads it to us. If they choose to stay in God’s presence, then go home, and study the Bible after. Yes, it is good to have community. Yes, we must spread His word. But He wants US - all of us. In our silence, in our mess, in our songs, in our prayers, in our weaknesses, not because of traditions set by man or because it’s a bunch of rules to follow. We are missing the heart of God.

Leave room for the people that are actually hungry for God. We sing hymns all the time and we don't know who wrote them or what kind off person they were or how they lived. God can use ANYONE and I truly believe that. All these politics are absurd. Before the internet everyone sang from a hymnal. And as long as it praised God and lifted Him up then no one researched who wrote it or cared what they wore or their status, they just sang a beautiful song to God. I have no right to judge her and I don't look into her personal life. I listen to the words and praise God.

Many are against the commercialization of God's word, but the same could be said about this channel that is likely monetized, and which has numerous links for donations and merchandise.

Stay focused on building that relationship with God and the resources you need will come to you. God will guide you; it's those who interpret His word that will sometimes lead you astray.

I don’t understand why people say she doesn’t use God and Jesus in her songs. Look at the lyrics, in mostly every video she references the Lord! Elevation worship, red rocks, Hillsong…are all amazing people and bring certain people closer to God, maybe not you.

None of what she is saying is occult like, we can take anything out of context and make people think what we want. And quite frankly that’s what YouTubers and the government does.

Occult means hidden. "I'm awaiting the secrets to be revealed. ...nothing like the mysteries unfolding..." These statements of LD referenced in the video are about occult knowledge. The implication is that she's going to have secrets of God shown to her. This in spite of having the revealed Word of God given to us via the Old Testament and then in the New Testament with the injunction against adding anything to it. I don't think her words were taken out of context as we have her statement in full. Perhaps she's using wordsxx cv
I would like to add that I have heard some of her music and I liked it. I recall knowing I heard a Biblical truth in one song in particular. Of course this only speaks for the songs I have listened to.
You spoke defensively of Hillsong et al. Perhaps that's because you have taken them at face value and haven't heard or read of things that are less than kosher. Well, what if you are missing some information that would be troubling to you? If I may suggest that you do a YouTube search using these search terms; "what's wrong with Hillsong" and "Brian Houston" and use your discernment and scripture to see if you come across concerning.
To my knowledge this is the first time I've even any production by Spencer Smith but his comment about songs and singers and preachers and sermons are Biblically astute. Grace and peace.

Spencer, I really admire what you do. I have been calling out false teachers and so called prophets. I made some points about doctrine and before I knew it, I was being bombarded with hate and told I was not a Christian. What started as a conversation with 3 people became 20 or 30 people attacking me because I dared to call out the false doctrine of Word Faith. I gave them a bible verse Matthew 5:10-11 and everything went quiet. These people are unreasonable. I think I will stick to encouraging people, who need hope, which is found in no man but Jesus.

I was getting a KJV Bible after I first started watching you. And at the same time I was picking one out, a young girl was looking for a book of witchcraft and black magic, her mom was trying to talk her out of it, but the girl still got her way, I think. 'Do not judge by mere appearance, but judge RIGHTEOUSLY.' That's what the Word says. That being said, that song of her's, 'You Say', definitely has the Holy Spirit. When I listen to that song, it always inspires me to begin praising and thanking the Lord. Cursed music doesn't do that. Music from a cultists do not do that. I don't know why she chose that wording, and I know the wording is often used by new agers, but I do believe that it would be dangerous for a Christian to judge her salvation based solely on wording. And if you don't think she's a believer, then you're wrong to judge her that way as well because the word does tell us that we are not to judge the lost, because they are already under the Lord's judgment.

Do not be wise in your own eyes. The Holy Spirit is there for a reason. Not so we can dismiss or invalidate someone else's salvation based on what we just see.

Considering she couldn't give a firm stance on whether homosexuality is a sin or not and that she didn't like being labeled as a "Christian artist" I doubt she was ever Christian in the first place. She originally was going for a career in secular pop music even making it onto American Idol, but failed each time and the only contract she could get was from a Christian recording label. Most likely she just rebranded to fit the label's needs. We test the spirits by the Word of our Lord and she can't seem to meet what the Bible calls of her as a Christian. And she's not the only one. This seems to be a systemic issue with CCM, with people that brand themselves as Christians only to be chasing fame or even just leaving the faith. As for "You Say" God could use any song to bring you closer to Him, you assume cursed music won't do that, but if God wanted to use one to bring you closer to Him then it will. So praise Him for drawing you closer, we just need to be careful who we look up to as Christian artists.

I've been following Lauren's work for a long, long time, and she is one of the reasons why I decided to give my life to God. Up to this day I listen to "Peace Be Still", "Come Alive" and "You Say" at least one time a day, every day. I'm deeply grateful, because she changed much of my life to the best with her work.

Said that... she's 100% NOT a Christian Singer anymore. I won't go to the extreme to say she's not a Christian at all, but for sure her work is not about God anymore. She's been moving more and more towards the pop lifestyle, and her recent work shows it. Even her physical appearance changed in a very weird way.

I defended her A LOT in the past, when I was into "God is Grey" kinda stuff, but now that I know better, I finally understand that her critics have a solid point in the biblical context... and that's sad, you know, 'cause she was gifted with an amazing voice and soul that should've been dedicated to worship God above all, but she chose to worship the world.

Just hope she opens her eyes and open her heart once again to what really matters, to God, 'cause I'm afraid she will soon lose herself for good.

I also heard her testimony on Christian radio about trying to make it in music and she was approached by a Christian label and so she accepted. She’s just growing in her faith. She’s clearly not the strongest believer but that’s ok she’s getting there. I came into the Kingdom during the Jesus movement. I am a musician and have been a worship leader for roughly 50 years. This stuff began to creep in way back in the beginning of the Jesus People. I do believe that musicians and singers are especially vulnerable to spiritual deception. And I totally agree that there needs to be accountability and a holding to Biblical standards. Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying we should only sing old hymns but our music/worship should be Biblically based and those that lead it should be held to a moral, spiritual, Biblical standard.

I've heard it said lucifer was the angel of light, but also of music. Now, with this hip-hop/rap nonsense (I call it by another word), I can see where satan is misguiding people through music, since it speaks to the soul. Never liked this girl' music, and now I know why. As soon as I hear a song of hers begin, I change channels. that's how bad she 'feels'. This is a person that needs our prayers and our witness. So many Christians have adopted new age ideologies without even knowing it. Recently I had the great honor to witness to a person that attends my church who was deeply steeped in New age ideas and practice, who HONESTLY thought she was following God. This is NOT uncommon these days. I gently but firmly pointed out to her this truth and she immediately turned from it and to the LORD. I was once deep in the new age occultism myself for thirty plus years. God called me back to him six years ago. I asked Him why he let me wander in the wilderness of the occult for so long and after nearly three years of asking and praying about it, He finally answered me. So I would know where and how the New age ideology was creeping into our churches, Bible studies and Christians consciousness. Do not cast her out, because she is probably as misinformed as my friend at church. PRAY for her, witness to her through email, fan letters, whatever. God can use her, just like he used me!!!

I loved her music years ago, so when she gave a video about her testimony, I was excited to hear her story. She talked about her grandfather on a farm or something. She never mentioned the gospel or anything slightly deep. The most I could make sense of it, was the she didn't really understand what they were filming her for, or she was having an off day.

As time went on, I enjoyed her music less and less, since I was doubtful about her believing/understanding what she was singing. And then the interview happened, of her saying she doesn't know if sinful things are actually sinful. I just went, "Ah," -- she hadn't been having an off day. :-(

Staying within the context of her tweet this is a reach by the original poster. She stated she fasted, she never mentioned meditation. For those that do fast and focus on God and Jesus during that time many can experience what could be described as a re-set mentally spiritually and physically. I've done 3,7, and 21 day fast. When I was going through a spiritual and emotional crisis I finally understood one day no one can help me but God. I prayed fasted and received words clear as day from the Most High, when I hear from the Lord there's no confusion in the message I understand it completely no second guessing and it's up to me to listen or be stubborn. This is the power in fasting and praying, humbling ourselves and seeking the face of God. Some that fast will understand completely how this is like a reset in all phases of our being.

I propose a different interpretation to her tweet, and it's based on 1 Corinthians 9, where Paul speaks of becoming all things to all people. She hasn't tried to hide anything. The problem is that many musicians who do Christian or Jesus music ignore the serious problems, or they agree with the wrong. Also, the musicians in the Hebrew Scripture were part of the priestly Levitical line, and it was very serious to serve at the altar of the LORD in leading worship.

I know this is a Christian channel and I respect that, but just because one is Christian doesn't mean one can throw hate at others for not being Christian. If she feels more at peace with incorporating old spirituality into her Christian beliefs, then she can. Her music is not harmful or shady. In contrast, I would argue that the reason she is played so much is because of her uplifting music.
She is a valid Christian and should not be treated differently. She is just a gifted Christian singer, not a preacher.

Also, shame on every Christian who has nothing better to do than insult another Christian who makes music for other Christians. Ya'll are doing way too much.

Speaking as someone who suffers from anxiety (which is not something you can just get over and not worry) Some little thing can literally set me off and put me in fight or flight mode in my brain. My mind and heart will be racing all because you asked me a seemingly innocent question. The website on meditation is exactly what I do everyday to control and stop my anxiety from getting out of hand. Grounding is just used to keep your mind in this present place. Grounding for me is either to prevent or come back from an anxiety attack. Meditation is not always connected with the occult.

Yes it's all fun and games until you're sucked in.
Anxiety is the opposite of trusting God for your welfare. Jesus said we should not be anxious about anything.
Sometimes you feel like no one else is looking out for you and you are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things you need to be careful about. After a while, this could add up to a lot and you start to have the fight or flight response...
The answer is to be vulnerable towards God and cry in his presence. Agree that you have no control and just submit to him to take care of you. You'll feel so much better long term.
Trusting God is the solution to anxiety!

About 8-9 years ago+ I suffered from terrible depression and anxiety. I way in a sinful pattern and way in over my head, causing my anxiety to get worse and worse until I would have terrible anxiety attacks. Finally, I got caught in the act of my sin and was then in a legal situation. During the year that followed, I lost my job- got divorced- lost my beautiful home- but FOUND God again! What a precious time I spent in prayer and praise, worship, singing so many old hymns along with newer songs. My anxiety just went away. God took it away! When my sin pattern left and I repented- I began focusing on Him, the heart racing/fight or flight all disappeared! Instead of meditating and trying to fix yourself, turn to God and ask Him to help. 🌸🌺❤️

@N Great Did I ever say I didn't trust in God? No. I did not. You can trust God and have anxiety. Anxiety is NOT a sin. It's a disorder brought on my previous traumas in your life. I can pray all the day long but I also have to put work and effort in to make a difference in my life. Yes trust God, but Paul prayed to God to take the thorn out of his flesh and God said no. Sometimes we have struggles and God doesn't just "magically" take them away.

I would eat ofc but it would be like I would have problems with it then I decided to fast and pray bc well I wanted to be happy cuz it I was just in a bad position inside me but yeah it was a process! Because I had to learn how to not let it get to me too . It is real sickness but when I spend more time with God I became better! Like I understood what to think. Like I would always feel bad about people not texting me back. I still have some sort of anxiety with people and I would still get thoughts back then but I just try not to and I know not to and to trust God with how I feel so I just pray about it. what I'm saying is with his help bc then maybe I would still have problems if I didn't rely on him

Totally agree Christian musicians and singers should be held to the same accountability as a preacher. The number of times i hear people quoting songs instead of scripture is concerning. It's not just the new material some of the older hymns are confusing at best. One of our church worship leaders wanted to sing a song one time that i knew was well dodgy. When i said i couldn't play it i was left of the band for an absolute age. What concerned me most was the fact that not one single musician from a team of over 50 spoke up about it. It's a nice song they said.....

My old friend I haven’t seen in a while is into horoscopes. Before I got saved I checked some of that stuff out, not deep into the psychic parts! Thank GOD! But I started to hate all that crap because everyone talked about how scorpios were sexually insane and negative. I hated all their assumptions. That’s just what Satan wants people to label themselves as. This might be slightly off topic, but while watching this video, it brought to mind a "gospel" song that I used to hear sung in the churches (black Baptist) years ago. It was calles "Two Wings" by the Christianiers. The song song basically refers to becoming the Seraphim upon dying and going to Heaven. Anyway, I go to the video and start reading the comments. As you can imagine, people are on there claiming that they know their deceased loved ones are in Heaven, with wings! Believing they are now angels! So yes, church music has to be screened for heretical lyrics.

A lot of Christian artists have extraordinarily shallow theology, and their talent precludes them from growing their knowledge and understanding based on the Word of God. They feel sufficient in the overwhelming gifts they're blessed to share. Other artists are wise, and we had one of those groups at our church last night, The King's Brass led by Tim Zimmerman. Check them out for some edifying instrumental music and if you see them in person, you'll hear and sing along the gospel with a group of fully committed Christian artists!

I think if you know in your heart that you're walking in the light of God and that your heart is in the right place and that you have a good relationship with him and a solid foundation with him none of the rest matters. Today everything and anything gets twisted. Sure there's some bad out there, but keep your eyes focused on him stay surrounded by good genuine loving Christian like people and it really doesn't matter what you hear along the way or what you listen to on the radio, at the end of the day it's all about your relationship with him and him alone!

Very much agree with your overall point, Spencer; it should be patently obvious that doctrine matters. But with worship music, I don't know if separating the wheat from the chaff is always quite so simple. In the case of Bethel--sometimes even Hillsong--they can also write some powerful, spiritually poignant songs that have NO real doctrinal problems (not glaring ones, anyway)... Then you mix in the good with the so-so with the bad, and it's not always so easy for people to discern what's what---especially since the postmodern church is lead mostly by feelings as opposed to having solid, biblically informed, theology (as was more common back in the day). It's pretty much the same problem with watching TBN... You get a prosperity gospel heretic, followed by a decent preacher, followed by an absolutely INSANE heretic, followed by theologically solid mensch of a teacher/preacher, followed by a Gaither Homecoming concert--(who doesn't love one of those?)--followed by some faith healer with a bad toupée... So what is one left to conclude, then, re: the doctrinal trustworthiness of TBN? What is one left to conclude re: the doctrinal trustworthiness of Bethel? 🤨😵‍💫 I suppose this was not as big of a problem back when hymns were the mainstay in most churches. VERY few of those have theological problems, although I suppose there are a few... I could probably count them on one hand though.

People who claim to be Christians are more concerned with the Church doctrine, than the love of God for all mankind. I do not care if Lauren loves homosexuals or that she doesn’t mention Jesus in a song. Music ministers to the soul, just as sermons do, provides hope and inspiration for those in need. It is about sharing the love of God, not a biblical doctrine.

I have found most Christians to be judgmental, cruel, unloving hypocrites, claiming to be righteous and Godly people. Implying they are right and everyone else is wrong. Arrogance. There is a difference in believing and knowing. That’s why Christianity is based faith and trust, isn’t it? In fact ALL religions are based on faith and trust. Because NOBODY KNOWS, we all can choose to believe, regardless as to how strong your faith is people. And the arrogance is pushing people looking for God or Christ away. That is not love. I have no desire to associate with unloving people, who claim to be Godly.

100% agree! I found in my experience people were/are more concerned about "being right" than actually pursuing righteousness. The word "doctrine" is just a cover for "law". I think doctrine as notion or ideas to give framework to are good BUT people who NEED order, hate mystery, hate what is not known and what feels threatening ALWAYS assert doctrine. I KNOW I don't know what any other person has been through, where they come from and what has occurred shaping them into who they are. All I can do is just try to be present to them in authenticity and love. Today most Christians think being right is = to righteousness when in reality a person could be 100% right and STILL be wrong.

Two nights ago I had to ask a friend to leave my home because she was so worked up over my belief that God created man broken and imperfect, because he gave us all free will to choose him or the world. She believed God created us perfectly and we choose to do evil. I said it’s a matter of interpretation, but how your acting, confrontational and argumentative isn’t Godly, is it? I said just go home and think about your behavior, because it’s this type of behavior that pushes people away from God, Jesus and finding answers for an aching soul and that peace we all need. She texted me the next day and apologized. Each person has their own journey and relationship with God, or not. That’s between them and our creator. But I know my God is loving. People get so caught up on the little things, the “being right” and lose sight of those things that are truly important. But that’s just me. God bless you. Isn’t the most important thing to plant Gods seed. It’s then up to the person to water it, a little, a lot or not at all. If you have the desire to find God, you will find him. I just know I’m happier and better for it.

Quick note: In practical (not Buddhist or meditative) martial arts, the word "grounding" has two connotations. 1. Planting the feet in a stance to be harder to move. 2. Driving the opponent to the ground by means of forcefully planting them. We leave the other type of meditation stuff to yoga-folks & those who seek faux-spiritual practice martial arts. These others have come to seem to me to be pseudo religious exercises for non-Christian folk that do not really want to commit to something not based on their own works. In Christianity, once U know the Truth, that's it. U are responsible for knowing what God has shown U. If U walk away from that, apostasy comes with a steep cost -- consequences. Yet these same people in some of the more popular styles of Tai Chi are "drawing energies from the earth" into themselves? How is that even remotely not applying/channeling something clearly not from U into Ur own body? My "spiritual" side of my martial arts practice is at the beginning of class when I pray to the Lord nobody gets hurt, & at the end of class that we made it without to much injury, & that we have a class that doesn't require mandates for the COOF to participate!
