1. An american girl group composed of three sisters (Amber, Sarah, and Julia Ross), which was formed in the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania.
The three sisters started writing and performing when youngest sister Julia was only eight.
With Sarah on the drums, Amber on the guitar, and Julia on keys, Everlife set out to play for anyone that would listen. Later, they were playing over 120 shows a year.
Their first #1 radio hit, Lead the Way, first found prominent rotation on Pittsburgh's The Fish.
Members of Everlife relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and were quickly signed to SHELTERecords. The girls worked with prominent producers Kevan Cyka and Dan Needham to produced their self-titled debut project.
After signing with Disney, they contributed singles to several Disney soundtracks. They were eventually dropped from Walt Disney Records in 2007, but continued a strong relationship with Disney. They even opened for Miley Cyrus on the last six dates of her Best of Both Worlds Tour from January 25 in Lafayette, LA to January 31 in Miami, FL.
Later they signed to label 97 Records.

Set Me Free
Everlife Lyrics

It seems as if every where you turn
I was searchin' for the answer lying to be free
[Chorus]
You change me deep inside
I'm messing up look in my eyes
I'm searching for one true love
Everytime I'm drifted
Sailing out to sea
The rock of my salvation is callin' out to me
I'm waiting for a--
I'm--
I'm looking for the piece only you can fix for me
[Chorus 2x]
Your love has shown me free Now I'm free
Your love has shown me free Now I'm free
I'm free your love will never die
Yeah--
[Chorus 3x]
The lyrics of Everlife's song "Set Me Free" seem to be about a person who is searching for something, a longing or a hunger to reveal. The person seems to be lost or drifting, searching for answers and trying to find love. The lyrics suggest that the person has been lying to themselves in order to try and break free from whatever is holding them back.
The chorus of the song expresses that being changed deep inside, the person is messing up and searching for one true love. They wish to be set free from whatever is holding them down and they want someone to take their hand and help them through this difficult time. The chorus suggests that the person needs a strong love to guide them and show them the way.
The second verse talks about how the person is drifting out to sea and feels lost, but they hear the rock of their salvation calling out to them. They are waiting for something, possibly for someone. The chorus repeats again, expressing the person's desire to be set free and their hope that someone will take their hand and lead them to that freedom.
Overall, the song seems to be about a person who is in search of something deeper than what they have found so far in their life. They are looking for love and guidance to help them find what they are searching for.
