That we're the end of our descent
And I feel like a shooting star
That's gone too far from you
Tonight, I feel right
When I'm by your side, when I'm by your side
Tonight, I feel right
In between the smallest lines
I see your signs, even though they're fine
And I feel like a shooting star
That's gone too far from you
Tonight, I feel right
When I'm by your side, when I'm by your side
Tonight, I feel right
When I'm by your side, when I'm by your side
After all, you're a
Waterfall, crashing down
Crashing down
After all, you're a
Waterfall, crashing down
Crashing down
And all my life, I've tried to find you
And every breath I breathe is of you
I refuse to let you go
I refuse to let you go
And all my life, I've tried to find you...
After all, you're a
Waterfall, crashing down
Crashing down
After all, you're a
Waterfall, crashing down
Crashing down
Tonight (Crashing down, from above)
I feel right (I can feel all your love)
When I'm by your side (Crashing down, from above)
When I'm by your side
Tonight (Crashing down, from above)
I feel right (I can feel all your love)
When I'm by your side (Crashing down, from above)
When I'm by your side
Tonight
The lyrics to Eyeshine's song "Waterfall" seem to be about a relationship that has gone through difficult times but is now at a point of stability and happiness. The first verse speaks of the singer feeling like a shooting star, gone too far from their partner, but now they feel right when they are by their side. The second verse speaks of the smaller signs the singer sees from their partner and how it has led them to this moment of feeling right together. The chorus repeats the metaphor of the partner being a waterfall, crashing down, but now the singer refuses to let them go. The bridge speaks of the singer's lifelong search for their partner, and every breath they take is of them.
The theme of the song seems to be about the trials and tribulations of a relationship and the struggle to hold onto that love through it all. The waterfall metaphor could represent the turmoil they have both gone through, but now that they have made it through, the singer refuses to let go. Overall, the song is a message of hope and perseverance in love.
