III
Fōr Lyrics

You better believe me
When I say that my feelings are true
I try to keep it together
You know that it's hard
Whenever I lay next to you
My timing is awful
And I know that you're tired and
Truth be told I am scared
I am nervous but please
Together we will make it through
Just put your hand in mine
Tomorrow will be fine
Sink beneath this bed
I slowly whisper underneath my breath
I love you
And l hope you stay here forever
Forever and ever
I'll hold you in my arms
The sun had never felt this goddamn warm
And I hope
We stay like this forever
Forever and ever
You're calm and collected
But I know what you have been through
I know that it's tough
Torrents pushing us up
But they're pulling me back into you
Please know we'll be okay
So as long as you're here by my side
As this summer ends
Here's a toast to the ghosts
That had came all along for the ride
Just put your hand in mine
Tomorrow will be fine
Sink beneath this bed
I slowly whisper underneath my breath
I love you
And l hope you stay here forever
Forever and ever
I'll hold you in my arms
The sun had never felt this goddamn warm
And I hope
We stay like this forever
Forever and ever
Say goodbye to the noise
To the heat in her voice
To the light from the sun
In its warmth I am home
To the place
That we built on that summer
On that summer
Sink beneath this bed
I slowly whisper underneath my breath
I love you
And l hope you stay here forever
Forever and ever
I'll hold you in my arms
The sun had never felt this goddamn warm
And I hope
We stay like this forever
Forever and ever
Say goodbye to the noise
To the heat in her voice
(Forever and ever)
To the light from the sun
In its warmth I am home
(Forever and ever)
Say goodbye to the noise
To the heat in her voice
(Forever and ever)
To the light from the sun

In its warmth I am home
(Forever and ever)

The government says that it's a security risk (concerns of theft by the assholes that want all Jews dead). They don't have gun safes like we do in the US.
They are also concerned about negligent discharges causing severe injury or death.

It's still dumb, especially considering everyone around them wants to kill em all.
Then again, all men do a thing for two reasons:
1. The one that sounds good.
2. And the real one.
Call me crazy, I think it's the latter. If they leave their citizens vulnerable, the government can wait for a tragedy and acquire excess power. Just a thought, not necessarily saying that's the absolute truth. Call it a hypothesis.

@phl_knives

Don't think in your head NOPE. I am pretty private about my preps besides to a handful of friends who aren't prepared already ( Most are)
I had 2 different friends who said I know where I'm coming when shit kicks off. My response was "sure, but you will have conditions to not being turned away. I'm going to tell you this and this only. If you show up with nothing and have had prior warning to prepare and you have. I will turn you away. You WILL NOT take food, water or medical from the people I love nor should you want to. "
Both asked what would be expected of them to bring with a much more serious tone to their voices because they realized I wasn't playing around with them thinking I'm the local soup kitchen when something kicks off. I told them to start preparing with the basics. They would be expected to have outside of their EDC which should be a firearm, knife, flashlight, medical (TQ and pocket trauma kit) sun glasses, basics supplies like chapstick, lighter, pen, notebook and Leatherman.

1. 5-7 days of food at a minimum
2. 5 gallons of water at a minimum with water filter and catch method
3. Medical supplies- basics OTC meds, any RX meds they need and use for 30 days minimum and a stocked IFAK. Ideally a pocket trauma kit as well.
4. A semiautomatic 9mm, ideally a Glock 19 because that's what other people around us and I use. They should have a minimum of 3 mags and 250 rounds of ammo
5. An AR-15 platform or other 5.56 rifle that accepts standard mags, A minimum of 7 mags and a method to carry them, medical and comms. Ideally mounted WML and Red dot with back up batteries. 1 reload for all Mags of ammo for all mags. Ideally more.
6. A radio. A UV-5R and PTT Mic at a minimum
7. Headlamp, flashlight, backup batteries and rechargeable batteries for all lights, red dots and comms.
8. Sleeping bag, ground pad and other basics to sleep. Anything else they need to sleep on a floor, couch or whatever we have.
9. Hygiene products. TP roll, wipes, soap, toothbrush and paste/powder and other basics at a minimum.
10. Last and most importantly. Bring these tools but also damn sure bring the skillset to safely handle a firearm. Follow SOPs in place for light, noise and comms discipline. Letting someone know if you've been injured or even a minor cut. This allows us to monitor for infection. Last do not go out solo, do not start anything unless a fight is inevitable to protect yourself. I don't hang out with people who start shit for no reason nor should you. Know how of those friends and family members handle stress. Watch for depression, anxiety and irritability. Watch out for those symptoms worsening and give those people tasks that don't add to stress. Let them take a day or 2 off from Watch and give them other tasks.

I would recommend not sharing with anyone you don't know well about you being prepared. Use OpSec to make sure you're not being a giant target in a world changing or even regional SHTF. One scumbag knowing you have a "bunch of guns" could make you a target for gang or criminal ambush to take your guns. This has happened in my city. Multiple shooter's in vehicles and dirt bikes hitting drivers and before they could draw they're losing everything including their carry gun. This is going to increase in a Katrina or Sandy level even. Now imagine if help isn't coming from a state away or at all.

I watched my dad for 20 years, collect guns, ammo, food...etc 20 years. everytime he felt sad, or dissapointed with how his life turned out, he would go buy another gun, attachments, ammo...Didn't save a dime. Always parnoid. He pushed his whole family away including me. He disowned me after he thought I took a couple of his guns. We found them after he passed in the attic where he had hid them and then forgot. He guns in the walls, guns under every piece of furniture. Couldn't keep track. He died of alzhiemers. I took care of him the last 3 years of his life. Spoon fed him his fav foods. No one visited him. Not even his own realitives. He only had one friend left, and that guy never visited him either. In the end. House was sold, guns were divided up, food was thrown away. All I left is memories of a good man, who got lost. When I was younger 1-10 he was a different man. But in the end he didn't deal with his real issues. He was always planning for the future end of the world, but never stopped to be present, with his family, his son, his thoughts. He just always fantasied about a world where he would be needed, important, prepared. But it cost him everything. Its a fine line to tow. Be careful.

@Eric-oj5sj

Many people are prepared for the bad times, but not prepared for the good times. Sorry to hear that.

@havokap1

Sounds like he had mental issues. That has nothing to do with being prepared. Y’all should’ve been better family.

@MicahTheSaunaGuy

@havokap1  also it sounds like someone took my short a Lil personally huh big boy. Look I know it's hard for your tiny Lil brain. To try to figure out the chicken or the egg here. But answer lies in the middle. He didn't get alzhiemers from prepping no. But the choices he made including going to deep into conspiracies and isolation caused him to die alone. I'm not saying don't be prepared. That's not the message of this. It's that you can and should prepare. But always remember your death and remember to prioritize relationships as well.

I have a one word solution to this sad story: “balance”.

Southern Israel, October 7th, 2023 proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that firearm ownership is a MUST in today's world! The gun control debate is over.

@garycoulier9653

Gun control debate will never be over because those in charge trying to take away our guns could not care any less about us.

@FrankMachnick

Oh the irony of watching this guy, wearing that hat.

@reliablethreat23

@@garycoulier9653 You're right, but it's over in the sense that NONE of us should ever comply with their tyrannical BS! Just like you said, they don't care about us! It's up to US to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our country!
