In July of that year, after recording a self-financed EP entitled Deeper Sin, they signed a record deal with Spinefarm Records.
Their debut album - All Eternity - was released in Finland by the end of that year, and the band then signed contracts with Nuclear Blast (for Europe) and Pony Canyon (for Japan). Music Video's for songs "In The Heat Of The Night" And "Farewell" was recorded and obtained a fair amount of exposure.
In 2000, the band toured Europe together with Dark Tranquillity, Sentenced and In Flames. Bassist Miikka Kuisma quit the band and was replaced by Marko Kangaskolkka, who had played with the band in its early years. Epilogue was released in 2001, and was followed by a tour with Lacrimosa.
The album Jaded was released in 2003, and in August of that year, vocalist Jarno Perätalo left the band. He assembled a new band named Tiaga, integrated by former members of To/Die/For. Juha Kylmanen (from For My Pain) then assumed the vocals of To/Die/For. However, in 2004, Jarno Perätalo and the band Tiaga took the name To/Die/For for themselves, releasing the album IV in 2005.

This is a story about numbers and people (In the quaint town of Arithville, where numbers were cherished and celebrated, a shocking crime occurred that left the entire community in a state of perplexity. One by one, residents from numbers five through 30 started mysteriously disappearing, baffling both the authorities and the townsfolk.
The first to vanish was Number Seven, a beloved baker known for his mouthwatering pastries. He was followed by Number Twelve, a retired school teacher with a penchant for solving crossword puzzles. As the numbers continued to disappear, fear and suspicion spread like wildfire through the once peaceful town.
Detective Evelyn Mathews, a brilliant investigator with a knack for unraveling complex cases, was summoned to Arithville. She knew that there was a serial abductor on the loose, targeting the inhabitants of this specific numerical range. Determined to unmask the perpetrator, Evelyn delved into the enigmatic puzzle.
Upon examining the crime scenes, she discovered subtle connections. Each victim had a distinct passion or occupation related to their respective number. The evidence suggested that the abductor was targeting them based on their numerical significance, making their disappearances an eerie mathematical sequence.
As Evelyn dug deeper, she unraveled hidden secrets and delved into the lives of the missing residents. She discovered that Number Fifteen, a talented artist, had been involved in a long-standing feud with Number Twenty-two, an ambitious journalist. Could this animosity hold the key to solving the case? Or was there something even more sinister at play?
The town's anxiety escalated as more numbers vanished. The town council called an emergency meeting, urging everyone to stay vigilant and take precautions. They locked their doors at night, installed surveillance cameras, and formed neighborhood watch groups, desperate to protect their friends and family.
Then, just as puzzling as the disappearances themselves, the unthinkable happened. Detective Evelyn Mathews realized that she herself was a number within the coveted range—Number Nineteen. Panic coursed through her veins as she wondered if she would be the next victim, yet her resolve to solve the case strengthened.
With time running out, Evelyn devised a plan. She would bait the abductor by pretending to be an oblivious victim, luring them out of the shadows. The entire town was enlisted to help execute the plan, providing the detective with support and protection.
Under the cover of darkness, Evelyn awaited her captor. The night was eerily quiet, filled with a palpable tension that hung in the air. And then, as the clock struck midnight, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was the last person she expected—Number Thirty, the mysterious loner who had always kept to themselves.
The shocking twist revealed that Number Thirty was not the abductor, but rather a misunderstood genius seeking refuge from a troubled past. They had witnessed the disappearances and decided to take matters into their own hands, crafting an intricate plan to lure out the true culprit.
The true abductor, unbeknownst to the townsfolk, was a manipulative outsider who had infiltrated Arithville. Their motivation was revenge, seeking justice for perceived past wrongs. The unexpected twist revealed that this cunning mastermind had orchestrated the elaborate sequence of disappearances to avenge an old grudge, exploiting the fixation Arithville had on numbers.
With the truth unveiled, the town of Arithville breathed a collective sigh of relief. The remaining missing residents were found safe, and the town began to heal from the trauma that had gripped them. Detective Evelyn Mathews, hailed as a hero, vowed to guard the town's numerical harmony while encouraging a greater understanding of one another beyond mere digits.
Arithville learned a valuable lesson about the power and potential misinterpretation of numbers. The town looked beyond numerical stereotypes, embracing the unique qualities that made each individual, regardless of their assigned digits, an integral part of their community.
And so, the murder mystery of Arithville reached a surprisingly unexpected conclusion, reminding all who witnessed the events that perception could be deceiving, and a twist of fate could change everything they thought they knew.)
