All you need for happiness is you
Yes, that's true!
Yes, it's true!
All you need for happiness is you
""Baby you're so fire I can't live without you""
""You are the air I need in my lungs""
Making us slaves of this feeling of love?
All you need for happiness is you
All you need for happiness is you
Yes, that's true!
Yes, it's true!
All you need for happiness is you
You've said you're my world, but my world came to an end
You've said you love me, but you've fucked my best friend
Where is the knife, why you have bloody hands?
Is it in my back? I have more ones like that.
All you need for happiness is you
All you need for happiness is you
Yes, that's true!
Yes, it's true!
All you need for happiness is you
You've said you're my world, but my world came to an end
You've said you love me, but you've fucked my best friend
Where is the knife, why you have bloody hands?
Is it in my back? I have more ones like that.
All. You. Need. For. Happiness. Is. You.
In the song "All Because of You" by Fabian, the repeated chorus emphasizes a powerful message that all you need for happiness is yourself. This mantra highlights the importance of self-love and self-reliance in finding contentment and fulfillment in life. By affirming this simple truth multiple times throughout the song, the lyrics serve as a reminder that true happiness ultimately comes from within, rather than relying on external factors or people.
The verses of the song delve into themes of deception and betrayal in relationships. The lines "Baby you're so fire I can't live without you" and "You are the air I need in my lungs" suggest intense passion and dependency, but the questioning of "How many more lies we tell each other daily?" brings to light the facade that can exist in relationships, leading to a feeling of being enslaved by the illusion of love. This section challenges the idea that love from another person is the key to happiness, hinting at the dangers of placing too much significance on external validation.
The tone shifts dramatically in the bridge of the song, where the singer confronts betrayal and heartbreak. The lines "You've said you're my world, but my world came to an end" and "You've said you love me, but you've fucked my best friend" showcase the devastation caused by unfaithfulness and deceit. The imagery of a knife and bloody hands symbolizes the pain and betrayal inflicted by someone close, leading to a sense of betrayal and hurt. This part of the song reflects the darker side of relationships and the impact of broken trust on one's sense of self-worth and happiness.
As the song circles back to the repeated chorus, the message of self-sufficiency and inner strength is reinforced. Despite the pain and disappointment experienced in relationships, the affirmation that "All you need for happiness is you" stands as a powerful declaration of resilience and self-reliance. By emphasizing this message throughout the song, Fabian conveys the idea that true happiness can only be found by looking within oneself and finding contentment regardless of external circumstances. The juxtaposition of personal empowerment against the backdrop of relationship turmoil creates a poignant narrative that explores the complexities of love, loss, and self-discovery.
