It's time for a little truth
It's time for a revolution
Grab a torch gonna light the fuse
Had enough of the desperation
Had enough of the crooked views
Had enough and it's time for action
3 2 1 no time to loose
Cuz this is time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
We don't want your consideration
We don't want to be recognized
We don't want your procrastination
Time is now to get organized
Fall in line, revolutionary
Fall in line, gonna win the war
Fall in line, you're another number
Call to arms now,
1 2 3 4!
[Chorus]
This time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
This time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
It's time for an intervention
It's time for a little truth
It's time for a revolution
Grab a torch gonna light the fuse
Had enough of the desperation
Had enough of the crooked views
Had enough and it's time for action
3 2 1 no time to loose
[Chorus]
This time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
This time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
[Chorus]
This time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
This time you gotta make your stand
Falls away let the casualties beat down
The lyrics to Face to Face's "Bombs Away" advocate for a revolution, an overthrow of the current desparation and crooked views of society. The band calls for unified action (falling in line) and a disregard for any recognition or consideration from those in power. The repeated phrase "this time you gotta make your stand" emphasizes the urgency of the situation and the need for immediate action.
The use of the phrase "bombs away" in the title and lyrics is metaphorical, not literal. The band is not advocating for violence or destruction, but rather for a figurative "bombing" of the status quo and a rebuilding of society from the ground up. The torches mentioned in the lyrics can also be seen as a symbol of illuminating the truth and exposing the corruption of those in power.
Overall, "Bombs Away" is a call to arms for those who are fed up with the current state of affairs and are ready to take action towards a better future. The song is an anthem for revolutionaries and activists, urging them to fall in line and fight for a better world.
