The lyrics of the song "Война" by Faktor 2 are a powerful tribute to the tragedy and brutality of war. The singer describes the familiar sight of the sunset, but this time it is overshadowed by the knowledge that he and his comrades must face another battle. The silence of their commander is a stark reminder of the danger ahead. The singer carves the name of his love, presumably a partner or family member, into a piece of wood, as a symbol of his devotion and perhaps a way to keep her close to him, in case he does not make it back alive.
