And I got a F9 in Maths gan an
But I'm calculating hundred thousand Dollars
Wey you hustle for one year

Five point GP from the onset
So you mean you still dey find employment
That be nonsense but I'm the dumbest

Everything we do is all about the ego

Many men don make it at the ghetto
And if you check dem no pass NECO is that so
No dey form say you get sense
Na how you dey measure your intelligence
But we still no dey fit see the extent
If you no dey get cheque what's the essence
When boys no dey fit feel your presence

Eni to mo way lo mowe gbagbe
No be everybody father lo kawe wa
Awa lomo way way way way

Awa lomo to mọ way

Kowo ti pe kowo wole

Overall Meaning

In "Way," Falz and Wande Coal address the societal notion that attending school guarantees one's success in life. The chorus, which serves as the main theme, translates to "Not everyone who went to school knows the way." The lyrics highlight the idea that school is not the only path to success, and those who have money and connections often have an advantage over those who do not.

The first verse describes the wealth disparity in society, observing that not everyone has the same advantage as others. The second verse highlights the importance of intelligence and street smarts to get ahead in life. Falz suggests that there is more to success than just education and that natural intelligence and networking ability can be just as important.

The third verse questions the idea of intelligence and how it is measured in society. The artists implore listeners not to measure their intelligence by their educational achievements, but instead by how they can leverage their unique skill sets and personality to succeed in life.

Overall, "Way" encourages listeners to question the societal norms regarding success and to find their own path instead of blindly following the system.

One of the most underrated songs of all time in Nigeria

@AkpoSiekpe

The philosophy of this song is essential: Do what needs to be done. Don't expect to be handed opportunities just because you've got a university degree.

@spyentertainment

Guys are getting it wrong. Falz is not saying schooling is bad, he is just saying if you dont have the opportunity or you are not brilliant don't be intimidated at all cos it is who make it that is brilliant. I am not a graduate as well though had ND but have more than 3 university degree holders working for me and I pay them monthly. So be inspired not intimidated.
