A história da banda começou em meados de 2005, após encontro dos alagoanos Alvinho Cabral e Wado, do projeto "Wado e Realismo Fantástico", com o compositor carioca Marcelo Frota, o Momo.
Passada uma fase de troca de experiências entre a dupla nordestina e o músico carioca, surgiu então a idéia do trio juntar suas turmas. Cabral e Wado apresentaram ao grupo Adriano Siri, da banda Santo Samba. Marcelo levou o também carioca Alvinho Lancellotti, compositor e parceiro de longa data.
Estava formado o quinteto, num caso de afinidade à primeira vista. As composições surgiram com naturalidade, até o despertar de uma nova empreitada.
Com um repertório inédito e inovador nas mãos, era preciso convocar mais dois amigos: o baixista Daniel Medeiros, também responsável pelas programações, e o baterista Marcus Coruja.
Depois de azeitar o repertório e sonoridade em apresentações no eixo Rio-São Paulo, a banda sentiu-se à vontade para a gravação do disco de estréia, homônimo, lançado pela DUBAS/UNIVERSAL.
São doze músicas inéditas, de composição própria, e parcerias com Ivor Lancellotti e Totonho dos Cabra. O CD conta ainda com participação especial de Domenico Lancellotti, do projeto “+2”.
