I caught a record store slippin' on a $5 copy of Southbound, which is autographed now, this dude is and has been next level, whether flexing his OG slightly demented, gangsterpimpmatically sing-songy, Sac boss flow, or his schizophrenichaotic, off-time/kilter, cerebral gangster flogram, he stays slaughtering tracks on some unique, and uniquely listenable and rebumpifiable experimental and esoteric, mad genius gangster rap shit. It's not easy to keep shit raw, gangster, and slapworthy and un-corny while throwing such a different and alien slant on rap. Most people that play with the parameters of G rap, and weird it up, sound forced or like they're trying too hard to be weird just to be weird. Degree is a genius, he has created a whole universe that his listeners become a part of that adds way more depth, dimension, identity and participation to his music. Makes him way more than just an artist, and his fans more than fans. This dude will go out of his way, doing hella in-stores in random suburbs and outskirts to reach out to the fans in the woodwork, he even networks fans together. Dude is inhuman, he can market himself on some fortune 500 shit, own brand, label, artists, language, club...what's up with FU Wear, DE? Still got much love and shlangs in Seattle
