But God has been rocking your boy
God has been supporting me and helping me in my life and career.

But at the same time, I see Satan's plot to destroy
I am aware of Satan's plans to cause destruction and harm.

And I know I ain't the only one
I am not the only person experiencing these struggles.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son
God loved the world so much that he sacrificed his only son for everyone.

And Satan tried to knock Him too
Satan also attempted to harm Jesus and his mission.

But when they knocked the nails in His hands, Colossians 2
When Jesus was crucified, it was mentioned in Colossians 2.

And 15, but yet I still see a common theme
Verse 15 of Colossians 2 highlights a recurring pattern.

That's plaguing adults, and it's plaguing the teens
This pattern is affecting both adults and teenagers.

When Jesus died, He did more than just give us some help
The significance of Jesus' death goes beyond just providing assistance.

So help me understand why we still living for self
I am questioning why people are still focused on their own self-interests.

We live for our families, for our money and cars
Many people focus on their family, wealth, and possessions as their top priorities.

We live for our happiness, cause our pleasure is lord
People prioritize their own happiness and pleasure over everything else.

But ain't we seen yet, that that just doesn't work
We should realize by now that this mindset is not effective.

Living for self can only lead to dozens of hurts
Putting ourselves first can result in many negative consequences.

Please hear my heart, like a stethoscope
I am pleading with people to listen to me intently.

We're taking steps towards death, but looking for hope
We are slowly inching towards our own demise, but seeking guidance and optimism.

Because we were captured by sin
We were ensnared by our own sinful behaviors.

We were seized, now we need to be captured again
We were taken hold of, but now we need to be captured again, this time by God.

That's why we need to pick them Scriptures up
We should read and study the Bible to fully comprehend and embrace its teachings.

Start praying and fasting, and ask the Father to forgive us of
We should begin the process of prayer and fasting, and request forgiveness from God.

Forgive us for laziness, forgive us Lord for our pride
We need to ask for forgiveness for our laziness and arrogance.

Forgive us for worldliness, forgive us, cleanse us inside
We need to be forgiven and purified of our worldly morals and thoughts.

Cleanse us Lord from telling lies, cleanse us from our selfishness
We want to be cleansed of our dishonesty and self-centeredness.

Cleanse us from our fear of man, we need more than help from this
We need to be cleansed of our anxiety surrounding other people, because it requires more than mere assistance.

We confess our lack of love, We confess selfish ambition
We acknowledge our shortcomings in regards to love and our personal aspirations.

We confess to You our lust, oh Lord bring us to repentance
We admit to our immoral desires and ask for God's mercy and forgiveness.

See, we were captured by sin
We were previously trapped by sin.

We were seized, now we need to be captured again
We were ensnared again, and need to be taken hold of by God once more.

And captured again
We need to be caught by God more than once.

And captured again
We need to be caught by God over and over.

And captured again
We need to be caught by God repeatedly.

And captured again
We need to be caught by God again and again.
