Love Will Tear Us Apart
Flowing Tears & Withered Flowers Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

When routine bites hard and ambitions are low
And resentment rides high but emotions won′t grow
And we're changing our ways, taking different roads

Then love, love will tear us apart again
Love, love will tear us apart again

Why is the bedroom so cold? you′ve turned away on your side
Is my timing that flawed? our respect runs so dry
Yet there's still this appeal that we've kept through our lives

But love, love will tearus apart again
Love, love will tear us apart again

You cry out in your sleep, all my failings exposed
And there′s tast in my mouth as desperation takes hold
Just that something so good just can′t function no more

But love, love wil tear us apart again
Love, love will tear us apart again

Love, love will tear us apart again
Love, love will tear us apart again

It's refreshing to hear Stefanie Duchenne do a cover of a classic. And change the energy of it from melancholy to energetic. I know this song was a precursor to Ian's suicide but to leave what is such a beautiful song at that just doesn't do it Justice. So thank you Stefanie and the rest of the guys who used to be in this band for doing this for us. Such a shame this band isn't around anymore either.

Really? Up sense 2011 and nothing at all to say about this cover? Well allow me to say this was one the better covers I have heard on the YouTube after hours of browsing for covers of this song. Thanks!
