Victoria Falls

On forever
She keeps you
On the phone
She breaks
On the water
She sinks into your sofa like a stone
No one knows how low she goes
When victoria falls
No one knows how low she goes
She laughs
Like she means it
She sleeps
Behind closed doors
She skims
On the surface
She pirouettes across your kitchen floor
Overflow
Overflow
Overflow
Overflow

When victoria falls no one knows
How low she goes
When victoria falls no one knows
How low she goes
When victoria falls no one knows
How low she goes (how low she goes)
When victoria falls no one knows
How low she goes
The song "Victoria Falls" by Flyte is a beautiful and melancholic tribute to a person named Victoria, who seems to be going through a tough phase in life. The song talks about Victoria as someone who is floating away from the people who care for her, and seems to be sinking into her own world. She keeps people on the phone for hours, sleeps behind closed doors, and sits on their sofas like a stone without much conversation. Victoria's life is compared to the cascading waterfall, Victoria Falls, which falls gracefully and beautifully, but no one really knows how low it can go.
The lyrics convey a sense of sadness and helplessness towards Victoria's situation. She seems to be struggling, and nobody knows what's going on inside her. The chorus, "When Victoria falls no one knows how low she goes," is repeated multiple times, driving home the idea that she is spiraling downwards, and there's little anyone can do to help.
The song is open to interpretation, and the listener can resonate with the idea of someone close to them going through a difficult time. It's an emotional and poignant reflection of how we often fail to notice the pain of the ones we love.
