Funny thing: to save Eustus, you just have to stack the 2 wooden boxes, place them near the border of the hole, tell him to get in the cart, go on top of the boxes and just grab him and his cart and pull them out the hole.

Yes if you raise an object up then lower it back down, then climb up and use recall on it from above, it'll rise like before and you can grab it midair.

Pro Tip for Fairy number 4. There is a shrine case down in the canyon below, once you get the shrine warp its just a short run to a low ceiling and you can then ascend to be above and around the corner from the horn player

Mini tip: To get fireflies easily just talk to Beedle hanging around the stable where Pyper is. You can buy 3 fireflies at a time. And then just sit by the fire (or sleep at the lodge) until the next morning and buy 3 more. Repeat until you have 10.

If you're not grabbing them (and most other resources) when you see them and hoarding them for "later"...

5:46 I'm not sure if you can find a Speed 5 horse naturally in the wild, but Horse God Malanya can upgrade all the stats of your regular, non-special horses in exchange for your cooked meals. So even if you have a horse with 2 Speed, it can be upgraded to 5

You can upgrade your horses stats at the horse god now, so you don’t need a specific horse anymore John you can can make your favorite horse as fast as you want it! Hope that helped :D

An in-depth explanation on how attack/defens works on armor you upgrade would be great! As an example, what does 5 mean on an armor set? does that mean it lessens the damage taken by 5 hears or what? what extra bonuses, if any, does upgrading an armor set give etc etc ?

Every enemy in the game does a certain amount of damage based on what type they are. You take that base damage and add it to the damage of the weapon they're holding and that's how much damage they'll do without armor. Your defense value will just subtract from the damage without armor, so for example if an enemy does 30 damage with a 10 damage weapon and you have 20 defense, you'll take 20 damage, 30+10-20=20. Every heart that you have is 4 health, so you'll lose 5 hearts. If your defense if higher than the enemy damage you'll take 1 damage or a quarter heart.

Enemies do so much damage and have a wider range of attacks that I can't imagine why they thought making the fountains MUCH more difficult to activate was a good idea.

Edit: I posted this when the game just came out... y'all are way too sensitive: relax. I just thought it was strange that a charging blue bokoblin can essentially one-shot you and that they put the gloom hands monsters in early game areas.

Just something I noticed for the Drummer Fairy: You can attach zonai devices to the actual cart, if you attach the cart to the wood piece beforehand. For me, I tried to attach a fan, couldn’t, put the cart on the wood, and then tried.

Thanks for the guide for unlocking the great fairies. Tip: to get the guy out of the pit glue 2 boxes parallel to the ground with ultra hand, then glue the 3rd box on top of one box. You can climb on top the highest box, this will give you enough height to just use ultra hand and lift the cart out of the pit with the guy on it of course.

Actually you can just add the wheels to their carriage and the control stick to where the towing harness should normally connect to on the 3rd fairy, maestro doesn’t block you from doing your ultra hand shenanigans this time. Or like make a flying machine or rocket them to it if you feel like it.

For the Dueling peaks stable, crossing the river, I put Beezer on the wing (found nearby), fans and battery, then added the planks underneath the whole thing, to maybe keep afloat... but it still was able to fly all the way over there.

Hey Austin! I remember your playlist from Botw and I also remember watching all of your videos, you can get a speed five horse the gold horse! Go to the snow field stable and activate the golden horse quest at the stables then head north avoiding the gleock and you should see a gold horse then tame it how you would a normal horse have a good day Austin!

You actually can attach zonai pieces to the cart for the dueling peaks stable one. You just have to sit through all the dialogue the maestro says. I put a fan, steering stick, and battery and just boated them across the water. They were partially in the water, so they had shocked expressions the entire time, but it worked.

Thank you, I am hoping tomorrow this fixes my problem with the 2nd fairy. Very much been appreciating your videos over the years and a subscriber. Will watch your all your videos once I am past all spoilers.

The blood moons have been a curse and a blessing at the same time. I have been able to get more materials because of them, mostly from the islands. The curse is I clear an area in Hyrule just in time for a blood moon to happen and I have to do it all over again after depleting all my weapons and food, then I have to start all over to move forward. I really hate the weapons durability mechanic, but I love the game BOTW & TOTK so much it is worth it.

If you build the raft as shown above, follow Austin John's instructions in regard to dialog, put the raft in the river and then you can secure the wagon the fans using ultra hand. For some reason it doesn't work on land but it does once the raft in the river. I couldn't get it to work until I figured that out. I hope that helps.

16:30 PRO TIP: instead of building all that you can lift one of the crates in the air and hold it up for a few seconds then bring it back to the ground and then use recall on the crate while standing on it then quickly switch to ultrahand to lift the wagon to the ledge and then bring the wagon back to the ground. Once he hops in use recall on the wagon to bring him back up. It saves a ton of time if you just want to get the quest done! You can also use this trick to cheese a lot of shrines 😁👍

Tip: if there is a thunderstorm when your fast travel to a tower you can go in the tower that isn’t the launch circle, you can just set a fire around it to pass the storm

You actually can’t do this totally free in terms of choice - even if you find Dueling Peaks stable ( and the drummer) before Outskirts stable, you cannot do it UNTIL you do Outskirts stable first ( which is the flute )

Once you get the balloons on top of the cart, you can just pull the cart out of the hole with ultrahand while Link is standing on top.

Actually, for the second fairy, it actually let me put zonai devices on the carriage after i talked to the maestro and even though it was sinking a little i managed to get them to the fairy
