I spilled the ink across the page
I wrote your name on a blank sheet of paper and accidentally spilled ink all over it.

Trying to spell your name
I was attempting to write your name on the paper.

So I fold it up and I flick it out

He walks at home, tired from work
The garbage man goes home, exhausted after work.

A letter fall from his hands
The paper slips out of his hand.

He reaches out to catch the sky
He tries to catch the paper but it's already gone.

But it's gone with the wind.
The paper has flown away and is out of reach.

It hasn't flown the seven seas for you
The paper still hasn't reached you.

But it's on its way
But it is still making its way to you.

It goes to the hands into someone else
Someone else will eventually find it and give it to you.
