Where the boys are
Francis Connie Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Where the boys are
Someone waits for me
A smiling face, a warm embrace
Two arms to hold me tenderly

Where the boys are
My true love will be
He's walking down some street in town
And I know he's looking there for me

In the crowd of a million people
I'll find my valentine
And then I'll climb to the highest steeple
And tell the world he's mine

'Til he holds me
I wait impatiently
Where the boys are, where the boys are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me

'Til he holds me
I wait impatiently

Where the boys are, where the boys are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me

No lip sync, no auto tune, just pure, raw talent. What a voice.

So Connie was 23 years old the night this performance was filmed. Hard to believe she is now 84. I hope she’s doing well. She was an amazing talent and from what I’ve read a wonderful person as well.

I don't think it's actually Connie Francis writing to you. I'm pretty sure she has a better grasp of spelling and grammar.

She had an Angel's voice. This is the first song I heard performed by her, and I liked it so much now 62 years ago. And it is still good enough to hear and enjoy.
