Not the first Franz Ferdinand song I've heard used in an anime (I remember one of their songs used as the ED for Paradise Kiss, which I watched as a teenager), but it makes for a surprisingly great anime opening and I'm glad more people are getting introduced to the band from Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I honestly hope for anime use older songs or songs from other countries, since they're almost always make for good or at least interesting OPs/EDs.

I remember listening to this song when I was in elementary school. My dad would drive me to speech therapy everyday after school and always have the radio on. I love Franz Ferdinand so much dude lmao. I'm glad they reworked this from their first try on the album. Everything about it feels... incendiary. The cymbals, the chords, the long screeches in the background. It's definitely a song about burning, literally and sexually.

FF really are not talked about nearly enough. Not only did both Daft Punk and Justice remix their tracks, but their music is used in two different anime series now. FF and The White Stripes are like the two names that come to mind when I think of the post-punk revival era.

One of my favorite Franz songs!! It was really great discovering their sound as a teenager, the experience amplified their music for me. I still hold them very dear to my heart.

The fact that TRIGGER omitted the "Burn this city!" part is such a damned good piece of narrative. You can try and burn the city (Night City) but instead you'll be the one being burned. You can't burn hell.

This album came out when I was 24. This song and Take Me Out were perfection! I'd love to see a resurgence of post-punk revival garage style bands. I miss this genre. The Killers, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The White Stripes and Franz.... The chef's kiss!

Frans Ferdinand like a lot of bands of the era, had a lot of influence from The Strokes but this song specifically sounds like something Julian would write. I feel like it'd fit into First Impressions (also, shoutout to Studio Trigger and Cyberpunk Edgerunners for getting people into this song. Some folks might not like a band getting popular from a show like that but for my money, FF deserves it. They're pretty dope)

besides Edgerunner, this song's in Burnout Revenge, a racing game of mad destruction and street racing in super speed that's highly regarded by the racing community, as much as Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005. So yea, you might really wanna bench press a car with this music.

So glad to see the success this band deserve a lot of years later thanks to cyberpunk edgerunners, I remember when I was a kid and I see the comercial from Cartoon Network with Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinad and damn I knew was something amazing with the song of this band is so sticky and original, love to see that i was no crazy and this band was really a uncut gem
