So many reasons to hate a cover, but despite the painfully slow plunking and broken-fembot flat delivery - somehow the spirit comes through and I got it.

@Jérémy Lamarche Richard I think the spectrum of phrases used to describe cover songs may include "Somehow come through and miraculously evoke the same core feels with different sounds and pace." Furthermore, and I agree with you that hey everyone should know to check out the originals of covers, this phrase indicates some very powerful original material indeed.
