DUNAMIS
Freddy Rodriguez Lyrics

Cayó una lágrima
En ella vi
Tu compasión, y tu amor
Llegabas a mí
Eres Tú, mi Señor
En medio de la noche
Me das fuerzas, y valor
Para continuar
Para continuar en la batalla
La unción de tu Espíritu posa sobre mí
Poder y autoridad
Solo Tú, me has dado
El fuego de Tu Espíritu corre hoy en mí
Poder y autoridad Tú me has entregado
Para vencer
Para vencer
Para vencer en Tu Nombre Jesús
Para vencer
Para vencer
Para vencer
En medio de la tormenta Tú...
Me has salvado en tu cruz
En medio de la tormenta, Tú
Me has rescatado, Jesús
Mi Jesús
La unción de tu Espíritu posa sobre mí
Poder y autoridad
Tú, me has dado
El fuego de Tu Espíritu corre hoy en mí
Poder y autoridad, Tú me has entregado
Para vencer
Para vencer
Para vencer en tu nombre, Jesús
Para vencer
Para vencer
Para vencer en tu nombre, Jesús
Para vencer
Para vencer
Para vencer en tu nombre, Jesús
Para vencer
Para vencer
Para vencer en tu nombre, Jesús
Hechos 1:8-11
The lyrics of Freddy Rodriguez's song "DUNAMIS" are deeply spiritual and convey a message of finding strength, courage, and salvation in the midst of challenges and hardships. The opening lines speak of a tear falling in the midst of pain, symbolizing a moment of vulnerability and emotional release. Through that tear, the singer sees and feels the compassion and love of a higher power, presumably God, reaching out to them.
The lyrics then shift focus to the presence of God in the singer's life, particularly during times of darkness and struggle. The mention of being delivered and empowered by God in the night signifies a sense of divine protection and guidance that enables the singer to press on and face life's battles with renewed strength and determination.
The reference to the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the power and authority bestowed upon the singer by God emphasizes the belief in divine empowerment to overcome obstacles and emerge victorious. The imagery of the Spirit's fire running through the singer signifies a transformation and infusion of spiritual energy that equips them to conquer challenges in the name of Jesus.
Amidst storms and turmoil, the singer acknowledges the saving grace and rescue provided by Jesus on the cross, highlighting a faith that sustains them through trials. The repetition of the phrase "Para vencer" (To conquer) underscores the theme of triumph and victory enabled by the power and name of Jesus, reinforcing a message of unwavering faith and reliance on divine strength.
The incorporation of the Bible verse from Acts 1:8-11 serves as a biblical foundation for the song's message, reinforcing the idea of being empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the message of Jesus and overcome obstacles in his name. Overall, the lyrics of "DUNAMIS" evoke a sense of hope, resilience, and spiritual empowerment in the face of adversity, encouraging listeners to trust in God's strength to overcome any challenge.
