Based in Yorkshire, UK, she and her ragtag group of miscreants (well, Jack and sometimes other people) somehow create some presentable sounding video game and nerd culture music covers. This is amazing. I just have some constructive criticism that I hope you won't take personally. I wish you wouldn't insert an extra beat in the triple meter bars. The Dawn Will Come alternates between 3/4 and 4/4 pretty often and you just sang it all in 4/4 instead. For example right at the beginning:

"Shadows fall... And | Hope has fled" are two consecutive 4/4 bars,
"Steel your heart... The" is 3/4,
"Dawn will come... The" is 4/4,
"Night is long... And the" is 3/4,
"Path is dark... Look" is 4/4,
"To the sky... For" is 3/4,
"One day soon the | Dawn will come" are two consecutive 4/4 bars.

And so on in a repeating pattern across verses. It doesn't really feel like 3/4 and 4/4 when it alternates so quickly. You can write it in 7/4 with predefined accents on 1 and 4, whatever.

The point is, that extra beat makes everything sound held back or paused or dragged in some way. Feels like the song wants to progress to the next line and you're holding it back for some reason.

@Wedge Antilles sometimes. Or it can be nostalgia. A happy memory. Sometimes there’s just something in it that tugs at the heartstrings of someone for many different reasons. I can tear up listening to certain Disney songs because it’s nostalgic for me. Then there can be beautiful music that simply brings a tear to someone’s eye. Like that!
