I'll stand for what I stand on hand in hand
I'll stand for the mountains and I'll stand for the trees
I'll stand for you
I'll stand for me
Let's put down our weapons and stand for the earth
If it weren't for her you wouldn't see your birth
We're killing us by killing her and I don't understand it
Plastic in the oceans, rivers full of chemicals
We kill to drill for oil for the minds of the cynical few
That think they run the world and think they run our lives
With help from the media that spreads their lies
It's simple how this happens. It's a need to be on top
The greed of the ego makes you never want to stop
But Mr. Businessman, can I say something, please?
If we don't slow our role there won't be a you or me
Oh, Doncha know? This is how it goes. The revolution is taking hold
I will stand for what I stand on and stand for the land
I'll stand for what I stand on hand in hand
I'll stand for the mountains and I'll stand for the trees
I'll stand for you. I'll stand for me
Cause we're all one. We're all one
Living together under the sun
And the only difference now is the one you perceive.
Let the illusion go and live in harmony
The trees come down and businesses come in
Habitats destroyed by the hands of men
The soil is breached for oil and machines are on a roll
Then becomes the hunt for the black gold
Miles of mono-culture and it's poisoned to the seed
With herbicides and pesticides creating casualties
The stock is alive and it is poisoned too with hormones and chemicals that are made for you
Synthetic foods and artificial flavors made by slavery of manual labor.
When all we need is a natural seed
To live in peace and love
Free of corporate greed
Oh, doncha know? This is how it goes. The revolution is taking hold
I will stand for what I stand on and stand for the land
I'll stand for what I stand on hand in hand
I'll stand for the mountains and I'll stand for the trees
I'll stand for you. I'll stand for me
Cause we're all one. We're all one
Living together under the sun
And the only difference now is the one you perceive
Let the illusion go and live in harmony
I will stand for what I stand on and stand for the land
I'll stand for what I stand on hand in hand
I'll stand for the mountains and I'll stand for the trees
I'll stand for you. I'll stand for me
Cause we're all one. We're all one
Living together under the sun
And the only difference now is the one you perceive
Let the illusion go and live in live in
I will stand for what I stand on and stand for the land
I'll stand for what I stand on hand in hand
I'll stand for the mountains and I'll stand for the trees
I'll stand for you. I'll stand for me
Cause we're all one. We're all one
Living together under the sun
And the only difference now is the one you perceive
Let the illusion go and live in harmony

This music video is a celebration of a renewed & genuine friendship. ❤❤
Watching this makes me feel nostalgic as it brought me back to my teenage years when I used to watched them both every Sunday as co-hosts of the Sunday variety show entitled GMA Supershow & also all of their movies together. I hope they will have a reunion movie soon. It’s long overdue. ❤
