Down
Fuel Lyrics

I give you everything
(you let me down, down, down)
I gave you trust and salvation
(you let me down, down, down)
I gave you everything that I could provide
(yeah)
I gave you strength to stand and you shoved me
Down

I know you want me to love you
But all you ever do is bring me down
Won't you go away forever?

I felt the world of pain
(it's coming down, down, down)
Brought to the water, then left me dry
(down, down, down)
Took the drug from the user
(yeah)
Took all my strength to run then shove me
Down

I know you want me to love you
But all you ever do is bring me down
Won't you go away forever?

It's kinda freaky just to see you crawl
And all you can do is stare
I know you're tripping
While I kick you to the curb
Like you kicked me
Me
Me
Oh you shove me

I know you want me to love you
But all you ever do is bring me down
Won't you go away forever?

I know you want me to love you!
All you ever do is bring me down
Won't you go away forever?

Ever?
Ever?
Now
Now
Now
You shove me
You shove me
You shove me down
Shove me down

I haven't heard this song in years.

I miss them so much..

I miss them to this day and it’s 2019.

Born Again .Christian Goal Setter 44

they're still around, except the only member of the band who's the original member is Brett. Toryn Green was their singer for a while

Was obsessed with this song freshman year of college (2001). Was shocked at how heavy this song was, had only heard their ballads before. Reminds of Alice In Chains.

Lil Doge

Sounds like a mix of Rage Against the Machine guitars and Scott's vocals; the structure itself has a very nice freedom to it and yet, there's a terror there.

Mr. Ishmael

+snuffdigital The rasp really adds to it. Gives it a raw sound even if the production is polished.

Ugh Scott, so talented and influenced many I'm sure after his sound and time. I do love fuel and see your points. Scott had a raspy unique sound which is apparent in some fuel songs too. stp was always one of my favorites which is perhaps why I appreciate fuel too.

CPW1109

Probably the heaviest song on this excellent album. After all these years I’m still torn between Something Like Human and Sunburn as being my favorite album.
