The good time dance machine par excellence was how one critic described Fun Factory - probably the most accurate, characterisation ever made of this group. With their high-explosive mixture of pop, dance, rap, techno and reggae elements, they have achieved international acclaim and their singles can be found in the charts the world over. Tracks such as Groove Me (# 1 in Israel Dance Chart, # 5 in Israel Air play), Take Your Chance (# 3 in Israel Dance Chart), Close To You, Pain (# 30 in Israel, # 5 in Israel Air-play, remixed by ATB) and most of all I Wanna Be With You (once again remixed by ATB) and also Celebration made their way into the top ranks of all important at Media Control and Dance Charts. Sábado , maio de 1995 , uma noite como outra qualquer .
Era um churrasco americano com a turma da escola, todos na faixa de 14, 15 e 16 anos. Estavamos todos reunidos na casa da anfitriã e aquele clima gostoso de paquera da escola.
Nessa época o eurodance dominava as festas, e os passinhos era a ostentação.
No quintal uma galera dançando e curtinho, porem tinha uma turma meio com vergonha pois não conseguia acompanhar os passinhos das musicas mais agitadas, e entre essas pessoas tinha duas gêmeas observando de longe.
Foi então , que de repente a mágica aconteceu: na fita K7 do meu irmão começa a tocar LOVE OF MY LIVE do Fun factory, e nesse exato momento a mistura de sua melodia linda e as batidas calmas fizeram com que TODOS da festa entrasse no meio dos passinhos.
As duas gêmeas que até então estavam tímidas foram para o meio do quintal e começaram a dançar .... e sim, ficaram do meu lado tentando acompanhar calmamente o balanço do corpo.
Já era noite, e começou a ventar forte e aquele cheiro de perfume dominava o ambiente, e quando olho pra trás aquela multidão acompanhando os passinhos, inclusive a mãe da anfitriã entrou na roda e começou a dançar com a gente.
Essa música do Fun Factory reuniu todos ali na festinha num só passinho , foram apenas 4 minutos de música que foram suficiente para eternizar aquele momento em nossos corações. O tempo não volta , mas as lembranças são eternas. Essa música Love of my live marcou aquelas pessoas da festa , que numa só melodia uniu todos em um só momento.
É difícil dizer qual é a música mais bela, mas é fácil afirmar a música que mais MARCOU.
