In 2007, the band announced the release of a career-spanning retrospective called "Don't look back", to be accompanied by a tour. Following the completion of that tour in late August 2008, the group entered an indefinite hiatus.
The brothers Wingenfelder reformed as Wingenfelder & Wingenfelder and have released three albums and a b-sides album, with plans record a fourth in 2017. Rainer Schumann released a solo album under the name Schumann. Christof Stein formed Wohnraumhelden and has released three albums under that name.
In 2016, the band reformed for their 30th anniversary, and released a new track. Additional new tracks were included in the band's new retrospective "30 - The Ultimate Best Of Collection."

Party Girl
Fury in the Slaughterhouse Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
She's got the cutest ass of this planet
I don't know if I could believe her
Or what she said was true
She's just a party girl
She's just a party girl
But all I want is just a kiss from her
Party girl !!!!!
Look there's she going in the streets
Oh she's just canned heat
Oh how I love this girl
She brings the world in a whirl
The lyrics to Fury in the Slaughterhouse's song "Party Girl" depict a playful and lustful admiration for a girl named Janet. The singer is clearly attracted to her, stating that she has the "cutest ass of this planet," but he also acknowledges that he is unsure if he can believe what she says. She is described as a "party girl," suggesting that she is the life of the party and enjoys living in the moment. The singer declares that all he wants is a kiss from her, emphasizing his desire for her.
The second verse continues to describe Janet's behavior as she walks down the street. The singer exclaims that she is "just canned heat," which could mean that she is intoxicated or that she is simply radiating heat and energy. He expresses his love for her and how she brings the world in a whirl, which captures the chaotic and exciting nature of her personality.
Overall, "Party Girl" is a fun and light-hearted song that celebrates youthful rebellion and excitement. The lyrics depict the singer's infatuation with a girl who embodies these qualities, and the catchy chorus emphasizes his desire to be with her.
