The leaders elected
But the starving keep starv
As thee right are protected
Patriot preachers
Your "-ism" is filthy
If the prophets are right
Fuck off, fucking nations
There's a world to defend
Are we the last generation
Living close to defend?
And God who's all-mighty
You gave us the hope
Is our time running out now
Is there no more hope?
Is this the way
We want to see our world
If not, reach out
Your own helping hand
The world is devided
The leaders elected
But the starving keep starv
As thee right are protected
Patriot preachers
Your "-ism" is filthy
If the prophets are right
Then you're all fucking guilty
Is this the way
We want to see our world
If not, reach out
Your own helping hand
The song "Nineteenninetyeight" by G-Anx is a powerful commentary on the state of the world in 1998 and beyond. The lyrics speak to the divide between the world's leaders and the poor and hungry, highlighting the hypocrisy of those who claim to protect rights while others suffer. The song also delves into the role of religion and the idea that those who preach patriotism and "ism" are ultimately guilty for their actions.
The chorus of the song poses the question, "Is this the way we want to see our world?" This rhetorical question challenges the listener to consider the state of the world around them and whether they are content to sit idly by or if they should take action. The lyrics urge the listener to reach out their own helping hand and make a difference.
The lyrics also confront the concept of hope and whether there is any left in a world that is plagued by poverty, hunger, and inequality. The implication is that without action, hope may indeed be running out.
Overall, "Nineteenninetyeight" is a thought-provoking and powerful commentary on the state of the world, leaving the listener to consider their own role in making a difference.

This is a good cd, and thank you for posting this.
Though I plan on making playlists putting the tracks in order of the years released, it'd be nice to hear that.
I also plan on uploading this for download (there's a decent priced cd on discogs right now), minus the tracks from their Filthy Christians split (those have been made available again).
