Gary also began booking blues musicians into clubs in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He continued to play gigs and book concerts for nearly two decades. In 1985, he formed Mr. B's Records, his own independent label. Coleman released his debut album, "Nothin' But The Blues" the following year. The album was popular and gained the attention of Ichiban Records, who signed Coleman and re-released the record in 1987, which managed a #74 placing on Billboard's R & B Albums chart. A fruitful relationship ensued with the label.
In addition to his own records he began producing albums for a number of other artists, as well as writing songs for other musicians and acting as an A&R scout for Ichiban. Between 1988 and 1992, he released six records and produced another 30. Some of his productions include albums by Little Johnny Taylor, Blues Boy Willie, Chick Willis, Vernon Garrett and Buster Benton. Coleman died in 1994.

Or else someone's gonna get ya (Someone's gonna get ya)
Someone's gonna get ya
Hide away folk family
Better hide away
Better hide away
Tippy-toe to the front door, Mother,
And the one thing you can't hide is all the fear you feel inside
As the fuse is spelling out these words
Hide away folk family
Or else someone's gonna get ya (Someone's gonna get ya)
Someone's gonna get ya
Hide away folk family
Better hide away
Better hide away
Tippy-toe to the flat-bed, Father,
Because they're pouring out our gasoline
And sadly the cross-eyed bear's been put to sleep behind the stairs
And his shoes are laced with irony
Hide away folk family
Or else someone's gonna get ya (Someone's gonna get ya)
Someone's gonna get ya
Hide away folk family
Better hide away
Better hide away

Hide away
The song "Hide Away" by Gary B.B. Coleman is a cautionary tale about a family that is in danger and needs to hide away from perceived danger. The lyrics are cryptic and use metaphorical language to convey a sense of urgency and fear. The term "folk family" refers to the family unit that needs to stick together and stay hidden to avoid being caught by whoever is threatening them. The repeated phrase "hide away" is an urgent plea for the family to stay safe and avoid danger.
The verse about the "guy with a long, long fuse" is likely referring to someone who is ticking time bomb or having a short temper. The line "the one thing you can't hide is all the fear you feel inside" suggests that the family must maintain a facade of calmness and composure, even when they feel threatened. The reference to the "cross-eyed bear" and his "shoes laced with irony" adds to the cryptic nature of the lyrics and creates a sense of unease and sadness.
The inclusion of the astrology report in the middle of the song adds to the surreal and dreamlike atmosphere of the song. The horoscopes for Taurus and Aquarius are ominous and suggest that something bad is about to happen. Overall, the song "Hide Away" is a haunting blues ballad that creates a sense of unease and paranoia.

My father introduced me to Gary Moore as a young boy. He said that i can play any instrument in my life, so i chose the guitar.
The talent Gary provided for a growing mind to the guitar world made me want to learn more.
My father and I had tickets for a show after his holiday in Spain. Little did i know that that was his last holiday.. Those tickets are still in our safe, it will forever be.
I miss your talent Gary. I listen to your albums as a musical diary for my everyday life.. I one day hope to jam some riffs out with you.
