Este fenómeno musical nacido en Los Ángeles y criado en Sinaloa, está dejando boquiabierta a toda la industria de la música, al no solamente llenar sino además dejar gente fuera en todas sus presentaciones tanto en Estados Unidos como en México. Recientemente encabezó el impresionante concierto “La Invasión del Corrido III” en el Anfiteatro Gibson, con un lleno increíble.
Su carisma y popularidad ha generando millones de visitas en Youtube, muchos artistas han querido colaborar con este gran artista, como La Banda El Recodo, que ya invitó a Gerardo Ortiz a participar en su más reciente video musical.
De igual manera, su talento como compositor ha sido reconocido por importantes artistas, de la talla de La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, Banda MS y Lupillo Rivera, que grabaron ya varios de sus temas.

Por su parte, el artista comentó: “Para mí es un gran privilegio contar con el apoyo incondicional de dos empresas tan importantes como Sony Music y DEL Records”.
El nuevo álbum de Gerardo Ortiz llevará por nombre ‘Ni Hoy Ni Mañana’ y saldrá a la venta el 1 de junio. Incluirá los doséxitos actuales de Gerardo Ortiz: “En Preparación” y “A La Moda”, ambosde la autoría del artista.
En los próximos meses, Gerardo Ortiz iniciará un fuerte programa de promoción, además de una gira de conciertos a nivel nacional, en México y en los Estados Unidos.
