Struggling to find my inspiration.
I am having trouble finding the creativity to create something new.

I thought i was done writing about being alone.
I was under the impression that I had exhausted the topic of loneliness in my lyrics.

I am constantly falling back into this hole
I keep going back to the same dark, unproductive state of mind.

and losing my grip on the people i love the most.
I am struggling to maintain close relationships with the individuals who mean the most to me.

My primary inquiry or concern is

how many more songs will it take
what will it take in terms of artistic expression

for you to hear.
in order for you to finally comprehend the depth of my struggles and emotions through music.

(I am desperate to know what artistic method or approach would allow you to truly understand me).

All those phone calls and sleepless nights.
The countless hours I’ve spent on the phone and wide awake in bed.

The long drives and watching the clock as they spent hours
The extensive car rides and time tracking as they conveyed to me for hours on end.

telling me that things would be fine.
Reassuring me that everything would work out in the end.

Don't tell me a story about a boy who got better.
I do not want to hear a tale about someone overcoming their struggles.

Tell me a story about the one who never suffered.
Share a narrative about an individual who has never felt this degree of pain or loss.

What about the one that got away?
What can you say regarding the individual who was significant to me that is no longer present in my life?

I found some hope in myself.
I have discovered some optimism within myself.

The first fulfillment I've had in years.
This is the first time I've experienced a sensation of contentment this significant in several years.

I am determined not to let go of this feeling of fulfillment.
