I want to connect with someone on a deeper level, instead of allowing my baser, more animalistic instincts to take over.

You claim to understand and empathize with me.

But I don't believe it the next thing
However, I am skeptical of your authenticity and sincerity.

Then you gon' turn on me
I fear that you will eventually betray or abandon me.

Let everybody believe the lies
I'm not going to try and correct the false image or perception that people have of me.

I'll be fine, I'll be fine
I will persevere and overcome any challenges or obstacles in my path to success.
