Va, dans les rues de Bahia
Et là-bas tu verras
Combien la vie est belle
Va, sur le sable doré
Rêver sous les palmiers
c l'amour qui t'appelle
Vois passer sur l'océan
Les grands voiliers tout blancs
Qui viennent des cntilles
Vois dans le ciel orangé
Le soleil se cacher
Dans le regard des filles
cu pays de la samba
cu pays des amoureux
Pour la fête du tabac
Va danser dans la nuit bleue
Va, dans les rues de Bahia
Et là-bas tu verras
Combien la vie est belle
Va une fille à ton bras
Et ne résiste pas
c l'amour qui t'appelle
Va, dans les rues de Bahia
Répète-lui tout bas
Que ton cœur est sincère
Va, dans les rues de Bahia
Là-bas tu trouveras
Le paradis sur Terre
cu pays de la samba
cu pays des gens heureux
Le soleil se lèvera
Sur la touffe d'amoureux
cu pays de la samba
cu pays des amoureux
Pour la fête du tabac
Va danser dans la nuit bleue
