Qu'on me donne tort ou raison
On a l'intelligence bête
Je n'ai qu'une consolation
C'est qu'on peut être seul et con
Et que dans ce cas on le reste
The song "En groupe en ligue en procession" by HK is a declaration of the singer's life as a protester, activist, and rebel. The song starts by listing the various ways people protest, including marching, driving or riding horses, and carrying banners or wearing underwear over jackets. The chorus makes it clear that the singer is one of those people who "manifest" and whose "end of the month rings clear." This implies that the singer is someone who is personally affected by the issues that motivate the protests, such as poverty and economic injustice.
However, the song also highlights the fact that protesters are often silenced, and that some people view them as immoral criminals, as evidenced by the line, "those who find all the vices in me." The singer identifies himself as an "amoralist," someone whose views on morality are different from conventional society, causing him to be viewed as a "defeatist" and a "burden" on society. The song challenges the idea that protesting is something foolish or naive by suggesting that protesting is a necessary part of creating change.
The last verse of the song shows the singer's commitment to the cause despite the difficulties he faces. The singer vows to continue fighting even if he becomes tired or disillusioned, stating that he will fight if he feels he has had enough. The final line of the song makes the point that being alone does not necessarily make you less "con" (stupid).
