Follow Me feat. Jason Derulo
Hardwell Lyrics

Halfway to hell I've made my bed
Baby give in and we'll be gone
If I go will you follow me home
Just like a pill, it's going down
Just say the word and I'll take it now
Come get me high, so I won't be low
You don't have to be alone tonight
If I go will you follow me
If I go will you follow me
Oh oh oh-oh oh oh
Baby follow me
Oh oh oh-oh oh oh
My name on your lips, sweat on your skin
I wanna love you again and again
Don't make me wait, cause I need to know
If I go will you follow me home tonight
You don't have to be alone tonight
If I go will you follow me
Will you, follow me
If I go will you follow me
Oh oh oh-oh oh oh
Baby follow me
Oh oh oh-oh oh oh
Nothing ever last forever
All we got is now or never
Baby we're is good as gone
Won't you follow me home
Won't you follow me
Nothing ever last forever
All we got is now or never
Baby we're is good as gone
Won't you follow me home
If I go will you follow me
Will you follow me, follow me
I will take you there
If I go will you follow me
Oh oh oh-oh oh oh
If I go, will you follow
Mi casa es tu casa
Baby
The lyrics to Hardwell and Jason Derulo’s song, “Follow Me” is all about temptation and desire. The song opens with the question “Is it a sin, that I want it bad?” which gives the indication that the singer of the song has a burning desire that is bordering on the forbidden. The lyrics then go on to mention being “halfway to hell” which can be interpreted as temptation taking them down a dangerous path.
The singer tries to lure their partner into following them, saying they will be gone and all their partner has to do is give in. The metaphor “just like a pill, it’s going down” is a reference to how easy it would be for their partner to give in and follow them, and to let the passion take over. The underlying message seems to be about giving into temptation and living in the moment, because nothing ever lasts forever.
The chorus echoes the desire to be followed, asking the listener if they’re willing to follow the singer home tonight. The passionate intensity of the song climaxes with the singer pleading with their partner to not make them wait and to give in to their desires. The Spanish phrase “Mi casa es tu casa” is a reassuring line, letting the partner know that if they do decide to follow, they’ll be welcome and loved. Overall, the lyrics to “Follow Me” portray the universal theme of love and desire and how sometimes you just have to give in and live in the moment.
