At the early age of 13 Shamaizadeh played in a theatre orchestra in Esfahan. He has then performed in Tehran radio and television programming.
He continued with ground breaking hit records like "Aghaaghi" from 1976. He was chosen the most popular male performer in 1976 by the readers on the "Zan -e Rooz" magazine.

The lyrics of "Shak" by Hassan Shamaizadeh convey feelings of love and yearning for a lost lover. The singer describes the warmth of his lover's hands, and how they had provided a safe haven for his tears. He compares her beauty to rain and says that his heart is filled with flowers because of her. Despite the turmoil of the world around them, he longs for her presence, and still looks out the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. The singer reminisces about the time when they had two windows, and they had both agreed to die together. Although everything around them has since fallen apart, they are still in love, and he is still waiting for her.
