There’s other outcomes too, for me Hacon didn’t betray us, Lawan was laying on the ground instead and he helped her, the city survived and Hakon and Lawan both escaped the detonation.

Wish the choice be that you can save the city and leave with Hakon only if you promise to go to the ocean. He be the smooth talker, you being the brains on traveling and avoiding the zombies.

If you save Hakon and spare him both times (you get the boss fight no matter what) Lawan takes the crossbow bolt for you instead of hakon saving you in the ending. And hakon is a nightrunner and helps you out. For sure you need to save them both+destroy the bombs and save Mia. You must also side with the survivors. That's how you get the best ending. Hope this makes sense, sorry if its confusing!

I helped hakon but still ended up fighting and killing him when I didn't leave him to die, im really confused because I helped hakon gave the radio to frank stayed to help frank trusted the colonel then when it came to the end I saved luwan and a lot of people died but idk why I had to kill hakon at all when I chose to help him...?

You "kill him" no matter what but its different. You know you've done it right if you say "i don't wanna fight you" for like the 2nd or 3rd time. He'll say "neither do I kid.. neither do I.. I'm so tired" and thats when lawan will jump in to try to kill him. You have to convince lawan to not do it and hakon will live

Okay, so the game totally bugged for me because for whatever reason I got the leave Hakon to die fight even though I helped him on Old Villedor.
Edit: Realized that he pulls a "I lived b***" as soon as you start to walk away, so nvm.

Well the best way to fix it is… you can’t and you gotta deal with it. Besides it just came out and I’m sure after their top priority patches they def gonna fix it soon. And I think they gonna atleast have like 5 years worth of content and patches :D

If you save him lawan gets shot by the crossbow instead and hakon helps her, basically 13:06 but switched around wherehakon is helping lawan instead, also don't worry, lawan getting shot doesn't affect the ending or anything and she ends up fine.

just choose to not fight him every time the game asks it in church and then save him from lawan and he will be saved and will become a nightrunner again and help you later on in the story

No matter what you do will always fight hakon in the church, your choices only control whether he lives or dies and is on your side or not.

Can someone clear this out to me please ?
I helped harkon (did not left him to die),
I gave the Tower to Frank,
In the church i told him i dont want to fight but the fight startet... In the secon phase after i searched for himhe pushed me down and the fight did start again i was not able to spare him (he just died in the fight) and lawan didnt show up either.
so what do i have to do to spare him and tell Lawan to spare him ?
