In His second coming, the Messiah will be ruling and subduing all His enemies.

Yeshua's humble entry into Jerusalem riding on a mule instead of a stallion as expected for a conqueror.

An average Galilean. Not really much more to see
Yeshua's humble and unremarkable appearance.

Not outwardly handsome. No emblems of royalty
Yeshua's plain and unremarkable appearance did not suggest any emblems of royalty.

Despised and rejected. Acquainted with suffering
The suffering that Yeshua experienced as part of His role as the Messiah.

Not the one we expected. We wanted another King
The disappointment and disbelief from some towards Yeshua as not being the kind of king that they expected.

Oppressed and afflicted. Subjected to sickness
The suffering that Yeshua experienced throughout His life, including being subjected to sickness.

Arrested, convicted. His death for the wicked
Yeshua's arrest, conviction, and eventual death for the sins of humanity.

Though He did no violence, like a lamb is sacrificed
Yeshua's death was sacrificial and done without any hint of violence on His part.

He submitted in silence. We couldn't see that the price
Yeshua's submission to His death and the inability of some to understand the magnitude of the price He paid.

Of our sin He was carrying. Made His soul an offering
Yeshua's willing sacrifice of Himself to atone for our sins.

Faithful to the very end. By His stripes we are redeemed
Yeshua's faithfulness, which resulted in our redemption through His suffering.

But don't misunderstand it, the ending's inside the text
A cautionary note to not misunderstand the true nature of the Messiah's work, as revealed in the text.

First He came as a Lamb but He's coming as a lion next
Yeshua's first and humble coming as a sacrificial lamb, to be followed by His second coming as a triumphant lion.

The last days are upon us, our redemption draweth nigh
The indication of the time of the Messiah's second coming, where our redemption is near.

Yeshua HaMashiach, the essence of Adonai
A reference to Yeshua as the embodiment of the essence of God.

When Jesus comes with legions of heavenly beings
A description of Yeshua's second coming with all His angels.

He'll be reigning as King and every eye will see Him

Fiery irises. Seven candlesticks in a circle
A description of Yeshua's eyes and His presence among His seven churches.

While making division. Where He speaks proceeds a Sword
Yeshua's second coming will make division and where He speaks the Word of God, it will proceed like a sword.

On His leg the inscription: King of kings and Lord of lords

Yeshua is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, and His voice is like a waterfall.
