1) Heavy Load was a heavy metal band from Stockholm, Sweden. Formed in 1976 by the brothers Ragne (vocals and guitar) and Styrbjörn Wahlquist (vocals and drums), together with bassist Michael Backlund.
In 1977 Heavy Load recorded their first album "Full Speed at High Level" (released 1978), now with Dan Molén on the bass.
After their debut, Ex-Highbrow guitarist was added to the lineup as well as Torbjörn Ragnesjö (A cousin of the Wahlquist brothers), replacing Dan Molén. This line-up released the EP "Metal Conquest" and the two full- length albums "Death or Glory" (1982) and "Stronger than Evil" (1983) on their own record label before breaking up. "Stronger than Evil" even featured renowned bass player Phil Lynott on the song "Free". Heavy Load was known in Sweden and also had a following in Japan, but in spite of this they never made any real commercial breakthrough. A last try was made in 1985 with the single "Monsters of the Night", featuring bassist Andreas Fritz, but the band split up shortly after.
In 1987, the Wahlquist Bros. kickstarted the band again and recorded an album together with ex-UFO bassist Paul Gray and guitarist Patrik Karlsson. The album was never released, though. Years later though, a cover of "Run with the Devil" was recorded by another Swedish metal band, Hammerfall, featuring backing vocals by the Wahlquist brothers.
2) Heavyload are Brighton's punk outfit, ambition, fantasy, expectation and desire that fuels the band. But they’re also uniquely, made up of musicians with and without learning disabilities.
The King
Heavy Load Lyrics

He's on his toes
He's breaking down the order
His heart of stone
Sword of steel
He's changing all the world
His kingdom's proud
They're in a cloud
He'll raise his hand
Praise his land
His words are webbed in glory
The king is on his way
The king has come to stay
The king is on his way
There'll be no other way
The king will call
To one and all
The time has come to show him
Stand by his side
Until you die
Or you won't live tomorrow
The king is on his way
The king has come to stay
The king is on his way
There'll be no other way
He brings us war
'Cause he wants more
He turns us all to soldiers
So many died
Who knows why
Soon it will be over
The king will fall
With men and all
His time has come to leave us
His kingdom burns
Did we learn
That he'll be back tomorrow
The lyrics of the song "The King" by Heavy Load describe the rise and fall of a powerful ruler who wants to change the world. The king is depicted as a charismatic and determined leader who seeks to break down the old order and create a new one. He has a heart of stone and a sword of steel, symbolizing his power and resolve to achieve his goals. His kingdom is proud and they believe that he will save them from evil. The king is on his way, and there will be no other way but to follow him.
The song also portrays the dark side of the king's reign. He brings war because he wants more and turns the people into soldiers. Many have died, and nobody knows why. The king's reign will eventually end, and his kingdom will burn. We must learn from our mistakes, but the lyrics imply that the king will return tomorrow, indicating that history repeats itself.
The song's lyrics have a political message and are a commentary on power and leadership. The lyrics can be interpreted in various ways, and the meaning is left to the listener's interpretation. The song reflects on how the masses can be easily swayed by charismatic leaders who may not necessarily have their best interests at heart.

I just discovered this band by looking up the band responsible for "Run with the Devil" off Hammerfall's Masterpieces album. I never thought they'd be so capable of such a timeless political statement.

He'll save them all from evil, He'll raise his hand, Praise his land, [He'll help them, reinvigorate us to our glory], [He'll light up our path], and show us the way, [enemy will have the fate of the age].

The Way of the Sith
(new lyrics) He'll have shown, a light foretold, he'll have to choose, to leave us to our fates or raise the banners high, he has to act when the time is right, all the way.
