1) Poland's popular music act of the 1990s. The band was founded in Szczecin, Poland in 1992 by guitarist Piotr Banach and charismatic lead singer Kasia Nosowska.
Although Hey sometimes described themselves as Poland's first grunge band, their melodic, guitar-driven rock and eclectic appearance owed more to New Wave and heavy metal influences; their first three albums contained songs in both Polish and English. During the band's mid-1990s heyday, they sold out stadiums throughout Poland, and attempted to break into the English-language market with a series of concerts overseas and an English version of their 1995 album. When this failed to arouse interest, the band began to write in Polish only, and gradually adopted a harder-edged, more industrial-influenced sound.
2) A Korean female singer who had a hit called "Je t'aime", recorded in both Korean and French. She has released three albums so far, her latest being recorded in 2008. Little is known about the Korean Hey, but she is still active and promoting the latest EP. See 해이.
3) Only German project of heyrec label (see [[http://heyrec.org]]) is represented at Last.fm with its tune of "Hey - Sans Toi".
4) Japanese video game developer, Shohei Yuki (ユキ ショウヘイ). He composed FM Synth music for his games. Capitalization of the name for this artist is 'HEY'.
Day Of Maturity
Hey Lyrics

Are always running through my veins
Every human fear
Puts another burden on my blood
I'm standing on the skin
Of a world immersed in darkness
So naive I can barely stand
Like a poor wide-eyed child
Oversensitivity
Comes when the soul takes over the mind
Kick me in the head
And maybe i'll get over it
Give me a little tlc
The lyrics of the song "Day of Maturity" by Hey present a theme of empathy and oversensitivity towards the world at large. The singer talks about how the groans of the whole world are running through his veins, how every human fear puts a burden on his blood, and how he is standing on the skin of a world immersed in darkness. The singer portrays himself as naive and childlike, who requires a little tlc to cope with the weight of the world’s sorrows. He seems to feel everything so deeply that his soul takes over his mind, leading to oversensitivity.
Furthermore, the line "Kick me in the head and maybe I'll get over it" is a metaphorical representation of the singer’s longing to face the difficulties of life head-on in hopes of getting through them. The song overall is a cry for help – for some empathy and care that could make the world appear a little less burdensome.
The lyrics present the idea that the world can be overwhelming, but music serves as a medium to channel the chaos and make sense out of it. The song captures the audience's emotions or states of mind to confront with the complexities of their lives. It encourages people to seek comfort in each other and to face the world as it is – in all its darkness and light, happiness and despair.
